Your night crew is useless! Your poor bottle guy comes in at 10am & all of the machines are broken, the machines were full & there were bags of crushed bottles outside the door. As soon as he clocks in he has to empty everything & clean everything & fix it all with no help. Disgusting! Start telling all of your other employees to do their job. Rich for employee of the YEAR for sure.

great selection, courteous staff and conveniently located to me. I'lm closer to the Elmwood Store and not Far from Kane Street but prefer the Fenn Road. nice clientele with CCSU students and people from New Britain Newington and ever West Hartford. plus great flowers as I will buy my girlfriend her birthday flowers for 6/12 there

Everyone at this pharmacy has always been so pleasant. When I needed not only a vacation override for a prescription, but also a different generic (because my insurance suddenly stopped covering my reoccurring prescription - ugh!) they were nothing short of attentive, cordial, and helpful.

Everyone at this pharmacy has always been so pleasant. When I needed not only a vacation override for a prescription, but also a different generic (because my insurance suddenly stopped covering my reoccurring prescription - ugh!) they were nothing short of attentive, cordial, and helpful. My grandmother visited this pharmacy for decades and when she passed this last Spring, the pharmacist expressed his genuine condolences to my family. You don't often get to experience this level of service and support.

I shop at many different groceries. But this by far has the best bakery. Highly recommended for desserts or birthday cakes. I got rave reviews from the chocolate sheet cake that I had purchased here recently. All bakeries should be set up this way. Many different varieties and the taste takes it over the top!

This is an excellent Stop & Shop, definitely one of the nicest in the area. It was completely remodeled last year and it looks great. It's very clean and well lit. It's well stocked with the usual huge selection of items. The bakery was great here! They had a huge selection of baked goods. All of the bakery items looked fresh, tasty, and appeared to have been recently made. The floral department was also excellent. They had tons of very nice flowers and decorations, and did a great job with the displays. As good as the floral and bakery departments are, the prepared food is what stands out here and at most of the remodeled Stop & Shops. The chicken was all hot and fresh. They also had a nice salad bar and some other prepared foods that looked great as well. The deli was good and the staff were friendly. The produce was fresh at this location. The strawberries, grapes, and bananas looked fresh. The seafood looked fresher than usual and they had a good selection. The meats were the only issue. There weren't many items left, and some meat didn't look too good. The staff here were friendly and helpful. Like I mentioned before, the only issue was some of the meats. Overall, this is a great Stop & Shop! It's very nice and they did an excellent job with the renovations! I wish all the Stop & Shops were remodeled. 4.5 stars for the Fenn Road Newington store.

Very impressed with the newly renovated store. Clean, very well-stocked, modern looking location. Prices significantly lower than Big Y/Whole Foods. Love that there is a local, made-in Ct section. There are thoughtful touches throughout, like theme stocked fridges in the grocery isles just in case you forgot the mozz for the pasta you're about to make, for example. One negative was that only two lanes were open, but this was mid-day on a Thurs so I don't want to rush to any assumptions. Hopefully this store can stick to the high bar that it has set for itself.

Great health and organic food section. The WORST checkout area. Currently standing in line and am forced to write a review as I wait. 2 lanes open. Workers walking around seeing that at least another lane should be opened but, meh. Who cares. Lots of self checkout lanes available but not satisfactory for multiple items or a ton of fruits and vegetables. (weighed). Plus they move slower as most have no idea how to use them. A worker pulling baskets just walked by complaining about his job and customers...good times!

I love Stop & Shop -- this particular location is convenient if you're out and about on the Berlin Turnpike. It's a large supermarket with ample parking. There's also a bank and pharmacy inside.

I have been going here 2 or 3 times a week for the last 2 years. Then last night I was buying some oranges from the reduced rack. The cashier says to me that there is no bar code on the oranges. She then puts them down with no plan on rectifying the situation. So I just left without them and now I have to make a separate trip. I'm tired of people that are miserable and take no pride in their work. I will probably go back there due to it being a otherwise good supermarket but it will be self check out from now on!!!
