Beware of this office: 10 years ago this office was awesome, when Dr. Rideal was running the office. After he left this office went down hill. Today is Monday 9/18/23 and at 9am no one picks up the phone. They have high turnover staff and they send patients to the New Britain office when they have no coverage. The staff at New Britain are rude and obnoxious. The office manager is aweful and very mean in New Britain.

My dad had an appt there. They cancelled on him to equipment being unavailable. Then they charged him 100 for a missed appt. It took SEVEN times calling them to get that taken off. I found my dad another doctor after that.

I called many times before their break time and they never pick up. Goes straight to voicemail. The oncall provider told me to call back at 1, which i did and their office is still closed. Very unprofessional and do not care about their patients!

Avoid Starling. It doesn't matter the location, the front desk staff needs training. Doctors don't last and go practice elsewhere for a reason. Do the same for your kids.

Go else where , my Dr Allá Kirzon takes for ever to respond to pharmacies to get permission to get refills, I have been calling since yesterday and can’t get anyone on the phone, today all I get is “please hold “ been on hold for 25 minutes and no one came to the phone. If you were depending on meds for your life don’t use this Dr or facilities.

The receptionist for Dr. KERRIGAN was so polite and kind. She was patient, reassuring, and very professional. She made sure to make me feel comfortable and safe. She had no problem answering all my questions. Same with the lab tech in the same building. I have a huge phobia of blood work and the lab tech was so kind! She made a huge difference and really helped me relax.

I called to have my child seen by a doctor due to his asthma and cold weather he's been coughing and having trouble breathing. They immediately told me to go to ER, I tried explaining that it's his asthma but I get cut off with "yeah you need to take him to the ER" I would have to sit in the ER for hours just so they can tell us that it's his asthma being triggered by the cold weather. And she finally says "well since you don't WANT to take him to the ER I guess I can send a note to one of the doctors" Right away I called an urgent care and they had no problem taking him in. Turns out it was asthma and his oxygen levels were normal. And it only took 15 minutes. Thank God for urgent care and kind people that work there. I cannot express enough how upset I am about the way they turn patients (kids) down and the way they talk to parents, as if I would even be calling anyone if I thought my child can't catch a breath. This is just simply unacceptable!

I can't say enough about this office. Dr. Courtney Souza and Jessie are some of the most compassionate people I have met in Healthcare. They never make me feel rushed or stupid when I ask questions. All the ladies in the front office are wonderful as well. I have called on many occasions (I'm not afraid to admit that. I'm a new mom! I'm still learning), and asked questions or looked for guidance, and each time, they are very nice and understanding. They are all so welcoming. I highly recommend this office for any new parents out there!

I am so incredibly upset with the service here. My stepson is on concerta. He has one pill left. We called for four days prior and they are having phone issues. Finally reached someone yesterday they said they would send the script over and never did. Now I am sitting here with only one day left of meds and the answering service personnel Jill will not let me speak to a physician. I am at my wits end at the point. How could you not send a script over especially when it’s not my fault your phone lines were down for days. Bring a pediatricians office this is absolutely uncalled for. I use this location for my PCP and to get blood drawn at the adjacent lab. The wait is not too bad for the doctors but the lab can be hit or miss. One time you may be the only one waiting and the next time you're spending close to an hour standing because they've removed most of the chairs (due to COVID). Obviously that's not their fault but it might help to have more than one phlebotomist on staff.
