I can not rave enough about Modern Edge Salon in Newington. They took me in after I did a stupid act of trying to highlight my hair. Without an appointment , even though they were fully booked, and I was a new Customer. Julie and Christina took me in and together worked in between their other services. My hair looks amazing, and trust me it was a hot mess when I walked in.
I am a new customer for sure and will tell everyone I meet how great they are!!! I can’t thank them enough!!

I just came here for the first time yesterday and I don't think I will ever go anywhere else , my stylist Daniel understood exactly what I wanted and got me to where I have been trying to get for a long time that no other stylist could seem to get me to. The salon itself is beautiful and unlike any other that I've been to, it's a very unique and welcoming environment. Overall I am soo happy with my experience and my hair!

This place was absolutely amazing, this was my first time growing my hair out and I needed a trim and I was skeptical about finding the right place to get my hair done but when I came across Modern Edge Salon I had a great feeling that it was the perfect place. I went and I was thrilled with the results, so for any men looking to get a good haircut go here and ask for Daniel he will get the job done perfectly and I can assure that.

Katie is a wonderful massage therapist. I would highly recommend her for anyone seeking massage therapy. She was open and receptive to the needs of her clients. She brings positive energy into the therapy and her knowledge on how to release the tension that builds up in the musculature parts of the body. I would give her more stars if I could. Overall, it was a very relaxing and pleasant experience.

I had the most amazing experience at Modern Edge Salon! After experiencing some hair loss, I called in as a new client and was immediately greeted with warmth and kindness as well as immense knowledge of how to help. Dan gave me a haircut I never imagined and I absolutely LOVE it! I truly cannot thank him enough for squeezing me in (knowing I was struggling daily with the hair loss) and giving me a kind of confidence I didn’t know I could strut! He has a forever client in me now!

Dan and Christine have a wonderful business going with an incredibly welcoming vibe, great products and talented staff! (Not to mention the massage chairs while you get your hair washed!) I found Modern Edge through Groupon when I was new to the area and they were in their old location.
