My friend, highly recommended I go get shoes from Footprints. I work at Hartford Hospital. My job requires lots of lifting, walking on hard cement and being on my feet for 8 hours at a time. The staff has been great, the three times, i have been there. Getting me what i need. They have made recommendations on getting other items, which i couldn't afford at that time, but didn't push me to buy. Having worked in retail for over 10 years, it is great seeing those who work on commission, not pushing customer's to buy something, they can't afford. I highly recommend them to all my co workers. They even offer a 20% discount if you work in the medical field and show a work badge.

I purchased 3 pair of excellent shoes from Footprints yesterday. The entire experience was wonderful, thanks to the very professional and knowledgeable sales assistant, Dorothy. She went above and beyond to help me find just the right shoes that would fit me properly. She understood that I wanted to get very comfortable (but good looking) shoes at a reasonable price, so she found me several on sale. She did this despite the fact that my feet are hard-to-fit due to a very high instep and other irregularities. Miss Dorothy is also a KIND person who really sees the human in front of her, and she responds with grace and good humor--no matter how fussy my demands are. In truth, I have not seen her in 2 years but she remembered me! Don't buy online-- go to Footprints. You will not regret it.

I’ve just shopped my last time at Footprints. My husband bought me boots for Christmas- they do not fit but because we didn’t return them in 14 days, a very short return window as it is and no extra grace period for the holiday, they will only give us a credit for 70% of the value of the boots.The boots are unworn and in perfect condition but it’s a great policy for them to make some extra money off their customers. Buyer beware - it’s not about customer service at Foorprints.

Worst experience I have ever had buying shoes. If you go to this store, do not have a lady Dorothy take care of you. She has the worst attitude I have ever seen. It took everything I had not to tell her off.

They have a large assortment of sizes brands, the staff is very helpful. I have plantar fasicitis and they were very helpful with arch supportive devices and shoes to go along with them. Support a local business ! Jeff Benzos is rich enough. Oh and they love my dogs !

I hate to leave a bad review for a small business. I have bought shoes for myself and for kids for years at Footprints but I never will again. I bought a pair of shoes for my mom, and after wearing them for 3 hours the leather rubbed off the front. I brought them back and was told this was “normal” and they could offer shoe polish. They told me me to email the company. My mom has worn this brand for years and never had this issue. If they knew it was an issue why do they stock these shoes? People don’t go here to get subpar footwear and bad customer service.

So, after discovering the store I had purchased my last two pairs of shoes has closed down and having stopped at half a dozen stores yesterday and finding nothing but poorly fitting shoes, I finally ended up here. This is because my mother-in-law suggested it... she is awesome!Anyway, I walked inside and was quickly greeted by Mark who was able to make some corny jokes, measure both my feet. In no time he asked me what I needed & it was determined I was interested in buying two shoes as well as my use and style. He brought out a couple of options (color and style variations) that fit me very well...We went over the price and realizing it was right in line with what I paid at my old shoe store, I agreed to buy them and was out of there in no time very happy with my purchase and with the fact that I have a new shoe store.Worth mentioning here is the fact that these are top shelf shoes and not some pleather garbage that fits poorly and are uncomfortable. These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. If you are having a problem finding shoes in your size, I recommend checking out this place.As they say, If the shoe fits, it's from Footprints...Mark is the real deal, a true shoe salesman that knows his stuff and gave me the service I expected.This was an awesome experience.

It absolutely could have been a lot better! Salesperson was very abrasive,condecending and almost argumentative with my concerns1 And t otop it off he didnt even have the courtesy to thank me for my purchase. needless to say we wont be back. Wasn't worth the 40 minute drive

My Wife was looking for a new pair of walking shoes for a trip to Maine. Footprints had plenty shoes to try on. The salesman Jason was very helpful. He found a great pair of Brooks leather walking shoes for her. He made sure they fit her properly. She's very happy with her purchase. Would recommend this place for shoes jewelry etc.

I traveled to this place because im told it has a huge selection of different brands of shoes. My foot is wide and I need stable shoes. It's not an easy combination to have. Came in and started looking right away. A woman asked if i needed help. I said yes. A gentleman came over and was my shoe helper the entire time. He got the shoes I wanted, and you sat down, and they put the shoe on for you. For someone who has a difficult time putting on shoes, it was so nice to have the help. Great experience. He was their the whole time for me to find the right shoe for me. Then my boyfriend decided he wanted a pair too, the same thing he got his own helper. Love that. ❤️ Finally, we found the right shoes. The two men and the woman made sure we had a great experience and said goodbye. Ya, that doesn't happen anywhere, lol. Especially at a shoe store. Usually cannot find someone to help you. I'd definitely recommend this place and come back again. The shoes are pricey, but you honestly pay for what you get. I got a blk, wide, sturdy pair. It's not the prettiest, but at this point, I don't care. It's all about comfort.

They didn't have what I was looking for today which explains the rating. However, my past experiences have all been excellent. One of the few real shoe stores that still exist. Definitely worth checking out especially if you have trouble finding footwear that fits well in mainstream stores.

I’ve purchased Eliz B sandals, Clark’s, Birks, Brooks, etc on previous visits. Stopped in today 5/24/23 after work around 12p to see what was available in Taos/Birkenstock’s for the summer .. Also, what was available for plantar fasciitis sufferers like myselfNot one employee asked if I needed help. Your heavyset employee with dark longer hair pulled back, wearing a green top looked me up/down and walked away. Typically I have to escape salesman - Not today. I guess a hardworking individual has to spend their money elsewhereI know from being in customer service-type work for over two decades “word of mouth” is everything & nothing positive to shareSigned,A lost customer

Do not go here. I have size 11 extra wide, and I have been shopping with foot prints for 25 years. For the past at least 15 years, I can only get like one pair of shoes and I’m not that happy with it, but they fit me. Each time I see the sales person doesn’t want to have to go the extra mile to find an extra wide. I went today and it was a very bad experience where she just said claim we don’t have any. Can I ask why they clean they have the bigger sizes for people? This is false advertising and they still charge huge prices. I have been a customer for 30 years but no more. I am not wasting my time when I can search on the Internet and get some other shoes for an 11 extra ride. These people at foot prints do not care, nor do they go by what they say about having large sizes. They are a scam. No one should go here anymore.
