I had a leak on my gas tank, two places told me they didn't know what the problem was and to call a dealer. I looked around and found Auto Specialties and gave them a call, i told them my problem and told me to bring the truck down. The found a hole in the gas tank so i thought i would need a new tank. They told me that they might be able to repair it, when they called me and told me they made the repair i was thrilled, they did a great job and saved me the cost of a new tank., i would highly recommend this place and i will bring all my trucks there in the future. Honest people like them are hard to find, Thanks again.

They were OK my car's transmission is kind of hard to find so it took them a while in a while but I had to buy used one so they took out a trainee that made a lot of noise with a trainee that makes a little noise so it is what it is but paying 14 almost $1500 for a used transmission that still makes noise kind of sucks but it is better than the old 1

I’ve been living in Newington for a while now, but have yet to find a reliable mechanic since I moved to the area. I have been here twice now. Both times, I didn’t have an appointment but was provided prompt and professional service. Beyond that, I appreciate how thorough they are and how they try to do the right thing versus just trying to charge for random things that may not be as critical to your car. I’m also impressed by how quickly they were able to fix my car - in 1 day. I highly suggest you support this small business over some of the franchised shops in the area.Services: Brakes

I stopped in on Wednesday afternoon with a radiator issue and to schedule an appointment. They took my jeep in on the following morning. I got a call by 10am with a diagnosis, and was repaired and on the road again by mid-afternoon. Very quick, very accommodating, and a very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back to Auto Specialties when the need arises.

This shop genuinely cares about your wellbeing and the job at hand. I was getting ready to drive my car all the way to Florida. The dealership I regularly visit told me I had to pay at least $1,500 to get a vaccum pump replaced because it was leaking. I took my car to Auto Specialties and after an hour they told me I had no leak and saved me a ton of money. They didn't even charge me any diagnostic fees for checking for the leak. This shop goes above and beyond, they are well worth your time! Thanks again guys❤

Couldnt get my car fixed or saved, he was honest about not putting the kind of money into my bucket. Others places that i went wanted over 2600.00 to fix it. He even got rid of car for me.
