Staff not so friendly. I was told I could return an electronics item by the staff on the phone, but then denied when I showed in person to return. The zombie Manager sided with the staff member when she lied by saying I did not reveal the date of purchase on the phone. I guess the customer is not king at Walmart......Sam is turning over in his grave! Lost a loyal customer for life!

Be nice if they sold cold cuts and OJ and lots of other things (so then I have to go to Stop & Shop to get what Walmart does not have). I saw these boxes of Au Gratin potato mix - I skipped buying them because they had obviously been tampered with. There were only these 3 boxes left so I skipped buying any of them.

Alright. I know there are major ethical issues with this behemoth, with how it undersells small, local mom and pops and puts them out of business; how it's been found (at other locations) to have locked workers into stores at night; etc... But here, in New Milford, there don't seem to be many other places, which aren't also behemoths themselves, where you can pick up light bulbs, toilet paper, and mulch -- far less all three at the same time, at fair prices (along with Play-doh, Advantix, and gummy vitamins). The staff are almost all amazing, friendly, helpful, and reasonably diverse given the demographics of the area as a whole. We've been particularly impressed with customer service during the COVID-19 outbreak. Not only have folks been cheerful and kind in spite of high ambient tension levels, but have modeled tolerance and non-bigotry. This was one of the first places where toilet paper and cleaning products sold out in the area, it's true -- but it was also one of the earlier places to restock. When all area stores were out of thermometers and children's Tylenol, we found them here. We have some funny stories about how our kid, while attending an extremely chichi nursery school in NYC, was asked to write about his favorite place to visit in the world. Other kids wrote about private islands they visited on their parents' yachts. (OK, not really, but close.) Our kid wrote an ode to the toy department at Walmart. It is extensive. It's not en vogue to like this store, I know. But particularly in light of the wonderful staff, who stay wonderful through thick and thin, my family thinks this Walmart is the bomb diggity.

The manager Chris is a very rude, power tripping individual. I was waiting in line to return an item and when it was my turn he said I wasn't in "the right waiting line" and proceeded to service the next person even though he was there after me. After calling him out on it, he didn't care and threatened not to take my item back. I told him to do what he had to do but I wasn't going to beg him or stay quiet about it. He continued trying to escalate the situation by saying he was doing me a favor and that he didn't have to take it back if he didn't want to with a smirk in his face.

Friendly staff, but a good portion of them are unknowledgeable about the store. But it's better than shopping at the danbury Walmart. Bathrooms need work. Whoever orders the water does a terrible job

called to ask if they had lawn mowers. Lady said not sure. Put me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back. Without saying a word she said "I guess nobody is working" I asked to speak to a manager, on hold long time. Called back, Chris answered. I asked for a manager, another long hold. time now is 5:53 pm 7/7/18 What kind of morons did you hire? So "nobody is working"- good employee right?

I love Walmart. They have so many great items for great prices. When I buy clothes there they usually wear and wash very well. I'm a fan! Love the new self check out.

I barely shop at this Walmart anymore. I went there yesterday. Their customer service counter, for returns, etc., is ridiculous. They have one person, 7 different customers BEHIND me waiting, and there's employees that look like kids, standing around talking, laughing, and COMPLETELY ignoring the line. The most angered part is that the store was so slow in general, and all these people are on returns. Unacceptable. Employees are MISERABLE here. We laugh so hard when we see these commercials now and then for Walmart, on TV . Not even CLOSE to the shopping experience you would have at the New Milford Walmart. Can you please get a new store manager, or WAKE up the DISTRICT MANAGER!

Parking: Free Parking while you shop. Location: On Danbury Road. Customer Service: Customer service was exceptional at this location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was asked multiple times by staff if i needed help. During check out, a manager went above and beyond to give me the best price for my product. (I believe front office gives Wal-Mart money every month to offer discounts to their customers) Store: The store was clean and organized. it was very easy to find what I was looking for.

Horrible. Staff at photo center had a horrible attitude and so did the manager. Made a photo book and their printer was broken. They did not call to tell me. When I called ahead just to make sure it was there, I sat on hold waiting for the photo center. The auto service just transferred me back to the main phone operator who tried again. Waited on hold again. Then I finally just showed up and waited there for 20 minutes while Johanna helped all of the customers over the phone first (the irony). Then she told me the printer was broken and that "they called me to tell me." They did not. By then, it was too late. No apology from manager or photo center staff. Walmart is the worst...so disappointing to see when the staff matches the reputation of the business itself...just cheap and crappy.

I like this Walmart WAY better than Danbury's. The staff is friendlier and more helpful. The entire store in its entirety is much cleaner than others I've dealt with. Unfortunately I need to give them one less star because of their "new return policy." I bought an oven mitt and it was so thin that it burnt through to my hand when I used it. I returned it a couple of weeks later with my method of payment because their website says that's what you can do to return a product if you lost the receipt. Customer service gave us a hard time and said that we needed 1) the exact date I purchased it -- I couldn't remember so I had to look up in my bank statement and 2) how much we spent in that purchase. This policy is ridiculous so make sure you have your receipt and if not, then have your bank statement available.

Nice, but could use some improvements. You have to search for ENGLISH SPEAKING workers, and the shoe department screams hurricane Katrina. I love the selection of clothes and video games however.
