I used Transport Moving and Storage to move the contents of a 1400 square foot house. They came and looked at the contents and give me a quote stating a "worst case" number. This meant at the most they would charge me the number they quoted. When I received my credit card bill they had charged an addition $330 with no communication. They have refused to credit the over charge.

I've had occasion to use Jeff and his team at Transport several time over the past few years, and I never want to use anyone else. What a pleasure to deal with a fair, dependable, and always gentle mover! Makes the whole ordeal of moving much less of an ordeal.

I needed 13 pieces of furniture move, both from my second floor to the basement and some from the basement to the second floor. Most of the pieces were very heavy. I called on a Wednesday afternoon and two very nice men arrived on Monday. They were here for four and a half hours..... up and down stairs with all the furniture. Even dismantled and set up a queen size bed. They never complained and never stopped to rest. I can't say enough nice things about the two of them and the owner, Jeff. A real pleasure to work with. I would use them again whenever necessary and highly recommend them.
