Fantastic customer service. Jim and Jen respond quickly to questions and requests and their team works extraordinary hard. All tasks completed as described and I could not recommend Lambert and Barr more highly. Will be using them for all future projects.

We were in a bit of a pickle when we called Jim and Jen to help us repair our basement, which had suffered water damage. They came to assess the situation quickly and were very flexible with us in the process. Good to have a useable basement once again. The team at Lambert and Barr just completed renovations for my basement family and laundry room and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a project I’ve wanted to do for a very long time and they made it worth the wait. The absolute worst contractor that I've ever worked for!! Absolutely clueless!! They have no idea how to run a job efficiently!! Jim who claims to be a master carpenter can't build a dog house!! He has his clueless daughter jen running jobs. She has no idea of what she's doing!! One example is..She double charged a client for a 45 degree bay window!! Jen suggested the placement of the window!! When i arrived to install the window i noticed that it would inhibit the bulkhead basement door from functioning. I called jim before i installed the window to report the problem. He screamed at me and told me to install it anyway!! He said that they will sell the homeowner on relocating the bulkhead door!! My personal opinion is avoid Lambert and Barr!!

In need of a curtain drain on my vacant property, Jim Lambert met me at the site to evaluate the situation. He gave me a clear picture of what potentially could be done to improve the property so there would be proper drainage for a septic system. Following that meeting Jim contacted a civil engineer and health department regarding the details of my property. His due diligence proved invaluable. My property was not well suited for development. Rather than mislead me with a potential positive outcome, that would only benefit Jim, he gave me an honest explanation of the challenges so I could make an educated decision. Jim’s daughter Jennifer, who works with Jim, wrote me a detailed description of the impediments, which I hope to use to get the property reassessed. It has been a pleasure working with such thorough and honest land experts.

Lambert and his reliable crew built out our retail space during a very busy season and did a phenomenal job with scheduling their crews to meet our timeline. The quality of their work is excellent, and we had no issues passing our inspections. Thanks to their diligence, we were able to open our store ahead of the holidays as we desired. Lambert And Barr replace my septic system. They did and amazing job with the area they that had to work with. My backyard wasn’t an easily accessible area, however the team at Lambert and Barr made the experience effortless. The entire job took a little under 3 weeks because of weather and inspection restrictions due to Covid.The end result is amazing, the team was very knowledgeable about the process and informed me every step of the way the process. We have worked with Lambert & Barr for several years. They have done some large projects: a home remodel (kitchen, bathrooms, new doors throughout, new windows & more insulation), a new asphalt driveway, & a new septic system They have done some small projects: build a pad for, move & install a shed we bought from a friend; and demolish an old shed. They have helped with emergencies: replace a well pump and repair the seriously deteriorated well itself, and helped us defrost some frozen pipes with minimal damage. Their bids and schedules for their work have been fair and accurate. This family-run firm is honest, reliable, around when you need them, and their crews are courteous and hard- working.

Simply cannot say enough good things about Jim Lambert, Jen and their crews.We completely renovated our house—all new electric, all new plumbing, replaced every window and door—and *everything* was done on price and on budget. Just as importantly, the quality of the craftsmanship of their crews for some of the most intricate work (e.g. building a new bathroom with high-quality tiling) has been extraordinary. And the folks they hire are true craftsmen and artisans, who take enormous pride in their work.(For the record, this was our third major construction project on a home—and the first time we didn't fire the contractor! We are not pushovers.)Well after the renovation, Jim, Jen and their team has stood by their work; and we've continued to call on them for new projects.Again, my wife and I cannot say enough good things about Jim, Jen and their team.

In Feb.2017, I had a total loss house fire and I chose Jim Lambert (and Cathy) to come to my rescue. As it turned out Jim helped me every step of the way from the demolition of the remains through help finding an architect, designing a whole new house, and then building it for us to move into in March of 2018 - a record for speed considering it was over the winter.He builds a quality house paying attention to all of the details and communicating constantly with the owner. He is totally trustworthy and along with his entire family, has become a long lasting caring friend who will always be there when needed. I recommend Lambert and Barr LLC most highly and would give it the very best rating possible.

They were great to work with. Built foundation, put in septic and many more things. Very thorough and provided more than we contracted for. We had them back again to do more work for us. We are very happy with the results.

Lambert and Barr remodeled a bathroom in my 1847 house. It had to be completely gutted down to the studs. They never missed a day or came late or left early and when they did leave each day, everything was cleaned up and out of the way.Every contractor they brought in was friendly and polite and either Jim or Jen (Lambert and Barr) was onsite daily to make sure the project was going according to plan and to make sure I was satisfied.They did an amazing job and were a pleasure to work with. You won't be sorry if you choose them for your project.
