Store was much cleaner than the last time I was in there, some things were rearranged and more organized and looked a lot better, they had a big selection of birthday cards or sympathy cards,etc. I was pleasantly impressed with the improvement.

Love this store but one thing I witnessed, I saw an energy drink at all the dollar trees for a four pack 1.25 but at the new milford location they were selling the cans individually for .50 a can is that even legal ,I hope the owner of that store looks into this because its just not right

Definitely not cool for the store manager to cuss out a customer for going into his line. One cashier was trying to take care of a huge line. The manager came out of his office only willing to take three customers. This did not alleviate the line length, so when customer number four entered his register, he cursed out that customer with an “f” bomb!! Not acceptable Dollar Tree!

I went to the dollar tree two weeks ago with my 2 of my girlfriends and stuck on a cute white short and a pair of tan low heel wedge sandals that flip flop when I walk.We're walking in but it was to early we didn't realize that in opens at 9:00 a.m. and we were outside at 8:30 a.m. so we were stuck waiting and it's hot and humid too.One of my girlfriend spit her huge wad of pink bubblegum by entrance door and I'm like I'll be one to get your huge wad of bubblegum stuck to my sandals and they laughed and said knowing you.It's 9:00 o'clock my gf said Kim come on I got and walking to the door ang one gf said Kim look like you got something stuck to butt and I stopped my left heel is like super close to the bubbegum and stuck both hand on my butt and I don't feel nothing both gf let me see they looked and said nope nothing there.So I started to laugh and said ONLY ME and I move my left leg over a little and that's when I felt the bubblegum under my sandal.I walked inside the store and there a little bubblegum stretch from my left heel to the door entrance now I you can hear my left sandal stick,stick,stick with every step I take.Gf are like Kim come here so I walked over and I'm standing on paper and it's stuck on my sandal so I walked over to were the gum and candy items are and I pulled off the paper that's stuck to heel and heel keep sticking to the floor.We leave and I go to the curb and I started scrapping the bubblegum off my left sandal.My gf are laughing loud and said loud ONLY YOU KIM ONLY YOU!!!!!!

Didn't know you had to add a star or couldn't post. Needed a calendar and your store (#3520) in New Milford, CT was recommended as possibly having what I needed. I should have read the reviews before I went inside as some of the same conditions I experienced yesterday existed, and were written about by other reviewers, as many as TWO YEARS ago and it appears that those conditions haven't changed! THIS STORE IS FILTHY! The carpeting is horribly stained and small bits of trash are stuck to it throughout the store. Doesn't anyone EVER CLEAN IT? Cartons of unopened merchandise are stacked in aisles blocking display shelves. MERCHANDISE on shelves (what you can see of it) throughout store is haphazard and in TOTAL DISARRAY. THE ENTIRE STORE NEEDS A TOTAL CLEAN-UP and CLEAN-OUT. My overall feeling was that I wanted to clean my shoes and wash my hands as I LEFT your store and BEFORE I stepped into my vehicle. Whoever is responsible for the POOR PRESENTATION of your stores and the merchandise there-in is NOT doing the job responsibly. Just because your merchandise is offered at very low prices doesn't mean you should get away with such shoddy business practices. You've either grown too big to manage your stores properly or you just don't give a damn. I, for one, will NEVER GO TO Dollar Tree again and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND your store to anyone! Unfortunately we can't give you a 'NO STAR' rating and still have the ability to post!

Shopping here was fine. It was when I needed to return something that it turned ugly. The cashier, Dina, flipped out at the register and told me that I could not return my items. She said I can only exchange them. Which was fine, but the attitude that was slung at me was ridiculous. You would've thought I was trying to murder the woman. I would never shop in the store again. I managed to find nine other items to exchange. Which also required her to find the "manager" Aaron. It was a nightmare. He was too busy smoking pot in the back room to come out and help the customer. Because I actually smelled it. And mind you, I was there the day before and was unable to return an item because nobody can seem to get Aaron to come to the front of the store to help out. I have never in my life experienced such a bizarre exchange in a retail store that is supposedly one of the top of the line stores in this genre. Absolutely ridiculous. A prison commissary would run better than this. Will never ever go back. Where the hell is corporate? This is an abomination. If there was -10 stars I would give it that. Horrible experience. In Dina's defense, I thanked her for what she did even though when I walked away I heard her bad mouthing me to the customer that was behind me when I first got there to return the items. I overlooked that because turn the other cheek... I told her she was doing a good job considering she was the only employee visible in the entire store at that time. She was clearly flustered and upset. And I believe this was due to the lack of backup for management or any other employees for that matter. This poor girl was on her own on a busy Sunday morning. I can understand why she came on glued. But what I do not understand is how whatever corporate entity runs dollar stores is not intervening and making this a better place for the customers that keep it running. It disgusts me. Regardless of socioeconomic status, customers deserve better than this. This is aborrhent and mind boggling.

This is a really good dollar store! Clean, well-stocked and organized. The store employees are polite and the prices can't be beat! Kosher and Sea Salt is a staple in our house and we always get it here! Best price!
