I will never ever in my life have another prescription sent to the pharmacy I will never ever in my life go there for anything not even a band-Aid!! A couple people there are extreme Remely rude so disrespectful and made me feel like such a bad person I highly recommend anywhere else except this CVS in New Milford it is such a bad place and you will feel like how I feel right now if you ever go there and experience what I have experience.. after leaving this review I have just left there after waiting almost 1 hour with my one year-old child who is very sick trying to get my script that should've been ready for me and then told it would be ready in 15 minutes and still waited 45 minutes on top of watching the one girl who is very rude yell at somebody at the drive-through I will never go there again this place is awful and I am 38 years old and I've never seen anything like this in my life

Understaffed pharmacy and limited hours (10am on Saturday!) - simple prescriptions take days to fill. "Expedited" orders still take 25 minutes. They can be rude although some are nice and doing their best. This location needs to be managed a lot better. Drive through regularly has 10 cars lined up or is closed. I returned six times over 4 days to get a simple refill. Try to find an alternate if possible!

Last night my husband suffered a terrible fall and was taken by ambulance to NEW Milford Hospital. Cleared for release after multiple X-rays and CAT-scan, they called in a prescription to CVS for the pain killers he would assuredly need to get him through the night. The Attending Doc thoughtfully checked on pharmacy hours to be sure it wasn't too late. Has it been , he would have used the hospital pharmacy. Well, the website was wrong. I went to the pharmacy directly from the hospital and they were helping a customer finish up his transaction at 8:05. A man was closing the metal curtain. I explained my urgency and he said only, " There's nothing I can do. We close at 8." Yes, there is something you can do- behave like a compassionate human being! The registers were still open and staff was still there. Five minutes late...misleading hours for operation...no compassion. I hope they enjoyed their evening. We did not. I will NEVER go the that pharmacy ever again. Our CVS in Brookfield would never have refused service. Few people would have.

CVS is probably the largest pharmacy in New Milford. My experiences have ranged from "meh" downwards. Most particularly, the pharmacy itself seems to be staffed with poorly trained people at every level. But the crowning glory is that the pharmacy closes for lunch in the middle of the day. Bear in mind that this is (again) probably the largest and busiest pharmacy in town. One would think that they would be able to remain open during normal business hours...perhaps rotate lunch times for staff? Banks manage it...Note that I am NOT complaining about the non-pharmacy staff, who have been universally pleasant and helpful, and who do seem to manage without an enforced lunch break. Four to Five stars for them.

Incredibly unprofessional and rude people. They actually hung up on me when I was asking why they had called me that my prescription was ready and then, when my husband went to pick it up - nothing was there. Nick, who hang up on me claimed he was the head pharmacist. I find it hard to believe that someone so incredibly unprofessional would even be employed, let alone in a place that is dealing with medications. One star is one too many for this place.

SLEEP APNEA: Diagnosing the issue is critical and being able to provide therapy is critical. CVS HealthHub in New Milford is able to diagnose, which I, the Patient, am thankful. My severe apnea is marked by 87seconds of not breathing, 02 levels of 71%, and since it has been occurring for awhile- acute body pain, migraines, nausea. Yet it has been 17 days since the CVS CPAP Supportline has advised me of the status of my CPAP machine. The machine is in the New Milford CVS store, thankfully not affected by the global shortage. BUT why is it 17days no response, 14 days no response, no call back from New Milford CVS Nurse Practioner, 12 days no callback from Regional CVS NURSE PRACTITIONER who was “forwarding” my concerns. Is it because I have complained? Otherwise called advocating for one’s health. CVS staff must realize the power differential involved. When a person approaches a nurse/doctor/health provider they are vulnerable. There is inherent power on the Health Provider’s side. To dismiss, to minimize, to avoid, to make a Patient feel unheard, out of hope for treatment…is the very definition of bullying, neglect, or in worse case “abuse”. When a Person goes into a CVS store and purchase aspirin they are a CUSTOMER but when they enter a CVS HealthHub an hour attended by a nurse they are a PATIENT. We all thank and are appreciative of the nurses, doctors and staff throughout the industry for their hard, sacrificial work during the Pandemic. This post is not to be disrespectful, it is to get healthcare. It is to get the treatment they are heavily publicizing. The presence of a CPAP machine in the CVS New Milford store and it being unattainable to me, from an uncommunicative staff, has put me in the New Milford emergency ward for a barrage of tests, I’m now on an inhaler, etc. Severe sleep apnea can cause permanent right side heart damage, an increase in stroke or heart attack. Clearly on my visits, because the phone lines don’t work, the staff is annoyed. Annoyed at a Patient advocating for his health. I simply ask… Can you treat him? Will you treat him? On March 25th, 3:30pm, I drove 1 hour with Anthem BCBS on the line to personally hand the phone call to CVS nursing staff. The Nurse said, “ it’s 330 Friday afternoon nothing will happen today.” A comment like that ignores any empathy of the Patient, which means another 3 nights of waking up gasping, 02 levels at 71%, not breathing for 87 seconds”. That kind of flippancy made a Patient go to the car and cry for the dread of three more nights. Which are now 17 mores days gone by since that comment. As a care-giver myself, to my Mother with Alzheimer’s, frankly this needs to be corrected for myself and for others. They are task orientated from A to B (although not well, since key documentation was not sent in for one week, until I drove to CVS NEW MILFORD HEALTHHUB to confirm it was sent, they had forgotten. I returned another day for my results because the day I was there the printer wasn’t working). BEING TASK ORIENTATED becomes a finger-pointing excercise when staff doesn’t have a “Cooperative Care” mentality, as stated in CT Nursing Law. The CVS STAFF questioned me for two days, on who was the erroneous supplier on the Anthem BCBS approval, I didn’t know. CVS DIDNT KNOW! So I, the Patient, investigated… it’s the same company that CVS NEW MILFORD CONTRACTED FOR THE SLEEP STUDY. They should have known that. They should have known that their computer would fill that in. Yet, they stood there with their hands, literally in their pockets, asking what I had done? who the company was? they could do nothing. To clarify: LEGALLY : A SUPPLIER CHANGE ON AN ANTHEM BCBS APPROVED CUSTOMER CPAP MACHINE REQUEST CAN ONLY COME FROM THE PRESCRIBER, the NURSE PRACTITIONER OR DOCTOR. Will CVS simply now inform me that they changed the “Supplier” who they have not informed me and advise me it is out of network- thereby absconding from all responsibility and from the impact of their actions during the last month? That would be any easy fix. Stay tuned…. 1 month since my d

I sometimes stop in to get photos printed or grab a missing item. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I will never use the pharmacy here again. Nine years ago, when my daughter was born, we got a prescription from here. They filled a prescription incorrectly by almost triple. Our doctor said that if we had given the dose to the newborn, the baby could have died. We went back to the pharmacist and they apologized for the mistake, however I never forgot. I have never filled a prescription here since, I never will again.

Written by an NJ officer. I just walked into the Minute Clinic at the New Milford, New Jersey CVS because I am battling a sinus infection for the last few days. With being so busy at work I took my meal break for my appointment time. I walked into the room in my full police uniform and the nurse practitioner in so many words told me she hates cops. I thought she was joking at first but she was dead serious and told me to leave because I carry a gun. I asked her if I was dying on the side of the road she wouldn’t treat me. She replied that is different. Shame on CVS for employing Molly Poulose and thank you for the great manager who’s name I didn’t get who tried to help me. This CVS should be ashamed.

Once again a bad experience on so many levels: 1. Robocall telling me my prescription was in 2. On pick up customer service person tells me it won't be in until tomorrow 3. When I asked to speak to the manager A***, she told me it might or might not me in two or three days later -- NOT TOMORROW, and when I asked what I could do or how I might get my prescription elsewhere, she said "you can try to drive to one of our other stores." When I said "can you confirm which other store has it?" she walked away. This is only one of a series of unpleasant experiences I have had with CVS. The only reason I use them is my insurance requires it. Use Walmart pharmacy, MUCH BETTER!

Great CVS! great location, easy to park, fast, always well stocked, pharmacy team is friendly and cashiers very helpful. They've stepped up their game. We are inside the store twice a week, never had a problem:

One of the worst pharmacy's I've used. They never have your prescription ready when it should be, insurance is never in their system even tho I've picked up many times, and when there is a problem you don't get notified until you are there picking up and then you have to wait again. I've never come for a prescription pick up and not had a problem here.

Update:Pharmacy still sucks. I called today and said, "My son and I need to get flu shots, are you giving them", I was told yes, except not the high dose one (for people over 65). So I dragged my kid there and waited in the drop off line as instructed by the sign. We waited a good 10 minutes (oh, did I mention that we were the only ones on the line", finally the pharmacist (he seemed to be in charge, I am assuming he is a pharmacist) asked if he could help us. I explained that my son and I wanted to get flu shots. He did a lot of typing on the computer and told me that I was approved, but my son was not 18 and therefore had to go to his doctor to get the shot. DON'T YOU THINK THIS COULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED WHEN I CALLED, OR WHEN WE WALKED UP TO THE COUNTER). But whatever, I said I'd just get my shot since I was already there. He said it would be a 20 MINUTE WAIT and that my name would be called over the loudspeaker. I was not thrilled about a 20 minute wait, but I took a seat. I believe the long wait time is so we would shop and buy things! Finally I heard my name and stood up...but I was confused as to where to go. There was no sign for flu shots. I went up to the counter and interrupted a customer talking to a worker (because there is absolutely no one else to ask), she pointed towards the drop off counter, so I went there and asked a teenage worker where I was supposed to go for the flu shot. He mumbled "pick up line"...the pick up line was at least 10 people long and moving very slowly. Yes, I lost my mind and said that I was leaving. Did they really think that I had another 1/2 hour to stand around? It is a flu shot...how long can it take. If I ran my business with this level of customer service, I would be out of business within 6 months. I will never return to CVS, not for a prescription, not to shop. Done with the frustration.

I love this CVS!! The employees are so helpful and friendly!! I can always find what I need. Sometimes I go in just for the bathroom and end up shopping for some things. If you need a prescription there is typically a line though. Otherwise great place. And I personally am happy CVS doesn't sell cigarettes anymore.
