Everyone here is amazing! Our dog is so much more comfortable coming here (minus car ride which he hates) and they are always very understanding and helpful.

The team at Candlewood Animal Hospital are amazing! They truly listen and work with you. We have an elderly dog that is hard to transport. Kristen and Dr. Bakewell listened to our issue and worked with us to find a solution so our dog could get treated. They were very accommodating!

Although we were there for a terrible circumstance, we had a great experience with them, they were kind and calm and explained everything clearly, even though I was going crazy. Park lane animal was my original vet but after they told me I couldn’t come in after I called 3 times and said it was an emergency. I tried Candlewood and they let me come right down. May my baby boy kitty live on through all they eyes that graze this post. He was the best cat I ever had.

The staff was great. So thankful that they could squeeze in an out of town pup who had an unexpected injury! They were willing to double book an appointment on their surgery day and my furry child Gabby and I are so grateful! She is doing much better. THANK YOU!!

I am my own 501(c)(3) that has been rescuing and rehabilitating Pitbull's for 30 years. I chose CAH solely based on their willingness to help rescues. I was given so much more. Dr. Maziel was excellent and informative. My two recent girls were Spay at a later age and have been recovering quite nicely. He took very good care of us as did the entire office. I am very pleased and CAH will be Skye and Marbles regular Vet now.

When I take my cat to see Dr. Maisel or Dr. Bakewell I know he is in good, well-qualified hands. My recent visit was no exception. I felt Dr. Maisel treated Teo just as he would one of his own pets. Very kind, also good at explaining what he found during the examination and what the blood work indicated. I would recommend Candlewood Animal Hospital to anyone.

My sweet Rocky had a medical emergency today. I was hiking and he went into heat stroke very suddenly I drove to the first vets office I could find. An Angel must have guided me straight to Dr Maizel. He and his staff were incredible. They saved my Rocky’s life. He was blue and barely breathing when I carried him in. They quickly started an IV and gave him oxygen. They were compassionate and professional. I am so grateful for the care and kindness they gave to me and Rocky. I will be transferring my care to them if they have room for us. Eternally grateful.

Simon is always so well taken care of soat Candlewood Animal Hospital. He is treated with respect and love.His procedure seemed to go smoothly and he did not seem uncomfortable afterwards. The post procedure instructions were easy to follow.Being at this practice is worth the 1hr 15min drive!

The Vet, the tech, and everyone else at Candlewood AH go above and beyond to care for your pet and for the pet owner! They gave my new puppy a welcome bag and her first stuffed toy! I HIGHLY recommend!!!

The team at Candlewood is unmatched! I was very nervous moving to a new place, and finding a team to take care of my elderly dogs. The team has been kind, thoughtful, and patient with my endless questions. We had an emergency this week and Dr. Maizel's calm demeanor and expertise saved my dog's life. Dr. Bakewell has been incredible as well! I could not be more grateful!

Having had such a negative experience at another vet office, I was hesitant, but my cat needed help so I read some reviews online and rolled the dice...this time I struck gold. A caring and knowledge vet and tech giving me honest and complete answers to questions, with a willingness to take the time to actually speak with you about your concerns instead of just going through the motions and moving on to the next billable customer.... not sure I could really ask for much more out of the experience. Thanks Again.

I had a wonderful experience at Candlewood Animal Hospital! Dr. Maizel and team fit me in on very short notice, and my sweet pup was able to get in and out on a Friday afternoon with the medication she needed to get to feeling like herself again. I can't say enough good things about the team at Candlewood Animal Hospital!
