They are amazing! Without their help I wouldnt be able to save my pup! She had pyometra and really needed surgery. They worked their magic and was able to get it done. They are so sweet!

What an absolutely amazing team!! Both our pups were adopted from BeCAUSE 4 PAWS & both processes went so smoothly. The whole team is so friendly and it’s very clear how much they love their jobs and the animals they save!!Cheryl has gone above and beyond for our family. We are forever thankful for her. She has been the epitome of love, kindness, & care.We highly highly recommend BeCAUSE 4 PAWS not only for adoption, but also for the vet services they provide through their clinic!

We adopted our dog in August. Everyone there was really very nice. However they gave us a very sick dog, who they had to know was sick and didn’t treat. If they didn’t know she was sick, they need a whole new vet staff. Our trainer told us they have a reputation for doing this sadly.We were told she was worm free, within 24 hours we had a stool sample done by our vet, she had a bad hookworm infection. (Contagious to PEOPLE and animals) She has been dewormed FOUR times since coming home and she still has the worms. We also did a urine sample the same day, since her urine smelled so bad and had blood in it. She has been on antibiotics since the day after she came home of all different strengths and she still has it. She is in pain when she pees, and probably at other times but who knows. There is NO way they didn’t know she had the UTI by the smell of the urine and the blood alone. They let her suffer for god knows how long. (We adopted her at 6m old, these infections were not new sadly) It is in the contract that they are not responsible for any medical issues or bills after adoption. Lucky them. We’ve spent thousands of dollars in vet bills and training. On top of that, they were not honest about her training. The only thing they were honest about was that she was crate trained, which is sad because for weeks she wouldn’t come out of her crate. She was also trained to go to the bathroom on cardboard, not even training pads. Who does that??? With the ridiculous adoption fee you guys can afford training pads.I’m glad I didn’t do my research on this shelter before we adopted, or we wouldn’t have our girl. I waited to post this until after she was spayed since it took them over a month to make good on their word and spay her. I’ve read and heard about horror stories of them not spaying the animal as promised. We will never adopt here again.

My pittie Nimrod (aka Volo)has been a real blessing to me!! I'm so glad I was able to adopt him and over the course of the last year and a half he has really morphed into an ambassador for the breed!! So yes I am a proud pup dad.

I adopted my furever friend, Buffy aka Twister aka Funnel Cloud, from Because 4Paws. It was an amazing experience and it’s clear that they care about their pets! I loved every part of my journey to get Buffy and hope many more go through them!

Truly the best animal rescue! The staff are amazing, the foster families are INCREDIBLE and they helped us find our girl. We cannot imagine life without her. Affordable adoption prices and they truly love and care for your pet! They do so much to help- this will be where we rescue all of our dogs from! THANK YOU<3

My experience was perfect! They communicated with me the whole way through, they never left out details about my rescue dog. They were honest and helpful, and so loving to their foster fur babies. I’d highly recommend Because For Paws!

We adopted Chickory from BeCAUSE 4 PAWS. They were so friendly and helpful during the process. They made the adoption process so easy and quick! We were so excited to have our first meet and greet with our girl. We were able to meet her foster mom who was a perfect fit to watch over her until she came home with us. We also spayed her at their facility which went so smoothly! Their Facebook page helps keep us connected to her siblings!We will definitely adopt from them again! An incredible adoption agency!

I love working with this organization. I volunteer/foster with them and they are so responsible, organized, and loving. They are working tirelessly to rescue these animals from problematic areas and get them into safe and loving homes. There is no shortage of rescued pets who need homes, adopt through them!

We adopted our first pet , 3.5 months old male kitten. The entire process was very smooth. I would recommend anyone looking to add a new feline member to their family to adopt from because 4 paws and give those beautiful animals a forever home.

On October 23, our family decided to adopt from Because 4 Paws Rescue and we thought we were bringing our new family member to his forever home. Due to some behavioral issues, I spoke with the owner and thought it would be in the best interest he be returned. It was not a decision we wanted to make, however what was best for our family. We have been a dog family, and also knew the foster mother who is an awesome individual so we knew the transition would be easy. I was explained by Cheryl the owner that “Surrender” paperwork would need to be completed and that our $450.00 fee would be reimbursed due to the circumstances. Initially I was very impressed with their professionalism. Today, almost a month later and after several emails, phone calls, and voice messages left, I have been ignored. I know that the Rescue is open because they post on Facebook daily. We are thrilled the foster mom has decided to formally adopt him as this is where he belongs. I do however find this way of conducting business to be totally unacceptable and if anyone is interested in adopting from this agency, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere as the owner apparently does not understand the idea of good customer service. To be flat out ignored by Cheryl and the rest of the organization is a travesty.
