“Today was my first time visiting the Village center for the Arts for the Open Studio. I was so impressed! I went there with my daughter and her friend. We all created something unique and we had such a good time.
Diane and Jayson were so welcoming and helpful. We did not know where to start but they showed us everything and set us up to create whatever we wanted. They told us about the place and some of the things that they offered. For example, students are allowed to create their projects for school for free! That really amazed me, they really care about the community. I will be going back with the girls because we had such a great time.
Also, if you have anything to donate to create artistic things, they will gladly take it. I saw crafty things like tiles, puzzle pieces, random fabrics, too many things to list but they were things that I wouldn't think about making art with. So if you have anything that you think someone can make art out of, then donate it to the Village Center for Arts.”

“Lovely store! However, I had a terrible experience with the lady cutting my fabric. Don’t remember her name, an older woman who was passive aggressive and made for an unpleasant shopping experience. However, our cashier, Vinnie, made up for it! He was extremely kind and welcoming to my family and I. He made the atmosphere fun and enjoyable! An amazing employee who deserves a raise for completely changing our shopping experience. It is both refreshing and relieving to know workers like Vinnie still exist. It doesn’t take much to be kind and Vinnie went the extra mile to completely transform our shopping experience when a fellow employee originally ruined it for us. You are lucky to have Vinnie! God bless you all.”
