What ever happened to serving patients in the store first? For some reason, the pharmacy always helps people in cars first, instead of those standing in line. They also will never fill your prescription while you wait, they fill other prescriptions first, even if those patients won't be in that day. I always wait 1-2+ hours because as tthey put it, "my prescription came in after theirs".

The Pharmacists here think they know better than your Physician. It is absurd. Do yourself a favor, and transfer your prescriptions to Simply Pharmacy.

I love Walgreens. In my opinion, I think their prices are better than CVS and this is a much easier location to get to. They offer covid 19 vaccinations and also yearly flu shots.

Whenever they mess up or don't want to do their job, they blame your insurance, save yourselves time and headache and switch to Nutmeg pharmacy on broad street.

Employees are mean faced and outright generally rude. I will be avoiding this particular store at all cost in the future.

I have a bad infection and was on IV antibiotics at the hospital. They wanted me to get more oral antibiotics that evening after discharging me. The prescription was sent to Walgreens in New London. My husband went to get it, they said they would text him when it was ready... They closed before they filled it even though they had two hours before closing to fill it. I had to call the ER to have it sent to the 24 hour pharmacy. Walgreens called the next day to say it was filled. I explained to the girl on the phone what they did and with no apology she said, ok I'll cancel it... I said, you know that's really not good what happened, I really needed that medicine and she didn't care and hung up. Won't be using them anymore and for your urgent medical needs I would not trust them...

This place is usually good; however, THERE IS A PHARMACIST NOT TO BE TRUSTED HERE. We don't exactly know who yet though!!! MY husband almost died due to the carelessness of his own DR and a Pharmacist at this location, because they neglected to look into my husband's medication info. One medicine didn't go well with another, and my husband had a seizure and almost died!!!! WE ARE HURT AND ANGRY!!!! PHARMACY'S AND DOCTOR OFFICES NEED TO CHECK UP TO MAKE SURE THEIR WORKERS ARE DOING THEIR JOB CORRECTLY!!!!! We put our life in their hands and one wrong move could coast someone their life!!!!

I went to this Walgreens to pick up a copy of the record for my Son's Flu shot. I had lost the copy of the paperwork I had before and called that other Walgreens and they told me I could pick up the paperwork at any Walgreens.Unfortunately when I spoke to the pharmacy they were unable to pull anything up other than a blurry scanned copy of the record at first telling me that their system is only designed to take blurry copies of these records and only corporate and the original store got a clear copy. After some further back and forth with them I called the other Walgreens and that other Walgreens was able to call them and teach them over the phone how to pull up and print the record I needed. The other unusual part was the woman who helped me claimed to be their manager, In addition to clearly not fully understanding how to use their systems, she was extraordinarily rude especially after the other store walked them through how to get the appropriate records pulled up.I hope Walgreens will conduct some training with this store and especially this so called "manager"

Trust me: any other pharmacy in New London is probably better. I recommend CVS across the street. The worst customer experience I have ever had at any pharmacy. I have filled multiple prescriptions here and rarely ever have a good experience. They had me calling both my doctor and my insurance for a prescription over and over again, anytime I needed a refill, and even once I did they were often not satisfied with the information I got from my doctor and insurance, and would tell me to call them again. I finally transferred this script to CVS across the street and the script was filled the same day, no questions asked, no phone calls needed!Recently I tried to fill a simple nasal allergy spray (my last active prescription at this pharmacy), which I elected to have delivered to my home in the Walgreens app. They filled it but never shipped it to me, instead sending me texts that it was ready for pick up in the store. I tried calling the pharmacy multiple times to ask about this, but the automated system would put me on hold for 15 minutes, and once I was put through to the pharmacy and the phone would ring, no one would answer, and it would automatically hang up after a few minutes. I then called the store front instead of the pharmacy and talked to someone; they would transfer me to the pharmacy only for the phone to ring endlessly and hang up on me multiple times.I just gave up and contacted my doctor to have the last script transferred to CVS. I am not sure if this is an overworked/understaffed employee issue but the owner/managers at this location need to rethink how they run things.

These people have the worst people skills! Went to get my flu vaccine the LADY that gave me the shot was rude, and was so tense she dropped things on the floor. She picked up whatever she dropped, with her gloved hand and proceeded to give me the vaccine with her DIRTY gloved hand. I understand you may be understaffed or whatever, however, it is not the client's fault, be better! I don't recommend CVS is probably your best bet.

While not a popular subject for some, this review is regarding cigarettes. 3 years ago I bought a carton. The entire carton was stale. The clerk had no idea how many packs were in it as well.Yesterday, I got same brand and was hoping it was a one time incident. Nope. All 3 are.stale and have been sitting on the shelf for a very long time to go stale.I always use Walgreens in Groton, but wanted to save myself a trip.I'm thinking all the other packs have suffered the same fate.Never Gain.
