About five months ago, I stopped at MJ Sullivan because they had a specific vehicle I was looking for. I looked at it on the lot and was very interested in purchasing it. As in all the car dealerships I have been to in the past, somebody from sales would come outside and greet you, and ask if you any questions. Not in this case, despite spending about 15 minutes looking over the vehicle, nobody came to assist me. I later went home, and contacted the dealership through the web site, and before long, I had three different sales associates contacting me by e-mail asking when I would like to come in and test drive it. I explained each time that I lived over an hour away, and asked them what their best price was. I didn't want to waste my time or theirs if they could not do better on the price. I was told that I would have to come in and meet the manager if I wanted any more information which included price. I was only hoping to get about 2-3 hundred dollars off the asking price. I didn't think it was that difficult to give me a best price, especially since I was an internet shopper. I had already seen the vehicle, and was very pleased with it. I was hoping to make a deal, but it did not happen due to the dealership refusing to give me a better price via e-mail, still insisting I had to come in and meet the manager.Well here it it , seven months later, and the vehicle is still sitting on the lot. But, get this, the price has already gone down over $ 3k. Geez, if ya told me you can reduce the price a few hundred dollars, I would have been back and made the purchase. Now I sit here periodically checking the website to see how much longer that vehicle sits on the lot. All because I did not want to make an hour drive just to "meet the manager"Good luck in selling the vehicle - or you can send it back to where it came from- the auction.

went for emissions, was verbally attacked by someone claiming to work as the tester, no parking, poor signage, and angry employees. Went on about me thinking I was 'special', like I'm at a cheese and steak street seller. Someone who seemed to be employed there tried talking the guy down, tried convincing me they were legit. I left, I will never go that crazy town again. Back in the 2000s they were good, but now the backlot is completly full of peoples cars, maybe 100 or more, why there isn't any parking. Probably why the guy was so angry at me. A clueless customer. Go find somewhere else for emissions, they don't want the business.

Best sales and service in the area, if not in the state! I wouldn't buy a car anywhere else. The service department is skilled and reasonable in price. I got a great deal when I bought my Palisade and they went out of their way to find the exact model we wanted. I'd

NEVER. EVER. BUY FROM THIS PLACE. MJ Sullivan is full of greedy car salesmen than sell horrible, defective cars. My 94 YEAR OLD GRANDFATHER unfortunately need a new car to get around in his golden years. He saw a car he wanted at MJ Sullivan and after the dealer not negotiating on the price with him at all, my grandfather decided to still buy the car because he didn't feel like haggling or shopping around in his old age. ONE WEEK after having the car we noticed leaking inside the car and had to have the windshield replaced due to a beak in the seal. TWO MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING the car needed a new battery, guess what MJ Sullivan did? They replaced his battery WITH ANOTHER BUM BATTERY, charged him full price, and he needed another battery a week later. Now SIX MONTHS after purchasing he needs a new transmission for the car and MJ Sullivan is claiming no responsibility for selling a 94 year old man a piece of junk. He will have to pay $6k out of his retirement money to replace it. Please please save your money and do not purchase from the scam artists at this car dealership

Please please do not buy a car from this dealership. They ripped off my 94 year old father and he has no recourse. He bought a 2015 car from them. Within a week there was a major leak and all his floors were wet when it rained. They fixed that because it was under warranty then. But within a couple of months after his battery died. They had a bad battery they gave him but when he went back to talk to them about it they put one in but charged him. But a few months later that battery died. They didn't give him a new battery he paid for. Now nine months after the purchase of this car his transmission is gone!! He has to now put out thousands of dollars to get that repaired. So beware of purchasing anything from this dealership

Awful service.I bought an overpriced brand new car in 2022. Free oil changes, last time I called they said it was too soon (bc I called 1000 miles before like they said I could) now I call back and need it in 80 miles. But I will LOSE my free oil change bc THEY don't have open appointments for the next 2 weeks and I drive 120 miles to work. So by the time I have the appt I'll be over 1000 miles and they are saying I won't get it for free.Mind you this is the car I bought bc in 2017 I bought a used car from MJs and THE CAR PUT ITSELF INTO DRIVE AND DROVE WITH MY SON IN THE CAR. I had the service department call my crazy for days and days, I called MANY times. They said DESPITE MY CAR BEING PART OF A RECALL FOR THIS EXACT ISSUE the man (mike) said I didn't know what I was talking about. Well, I finally made the apt (they wanted to xharge me $100 for) and I went down and read the recall out loud in the service department AND OH BOY THEY FOUND MY CAR WAS PART OF THAT RECALL ....but MJs had 'fixed it' aka charged Hyundai for the fix but never fixed the car. This same car was going thru oil every 1000 miles. When the old MJs (when I bought my 2008 sonata brand new - it was great) but the service from 2017 to now is WILD. I've heard NOTHING but horrible things any time someone notices my car is from MJs, story after story about how shitty they are. If my car wasn't about to blow up I would have not bought my new car there. Which don't even get me started about how the salesman 'lost' my other liscense plate and called consistently to try to date me, he took the number off my paperwork. This place is awful. Think I'm going to trade my car in and get anything from somewhere else that knows how to treat a customer.

Caveat emptor,It had been over 20 years since I bought a car from a dealer,I should have known better.I wanted to pay for the car in cash , but as is common practice the salesman goes to the manger with my offer and comes back with a counter offer that includes financing.....so since I wanted the car I reluctantly assented and when I did not get the financing approved as A 1 ,my discount disappeared, the finance guy took full blame but I was stuck with overpaying...got 3 lousy oil changes

Had to update my review. Keeping 5 stars, but wanted to make a comment about those extended warranties! Yes, I bought one for my last car (new in 2014). Knew that we would be keeping it for awhile. So I paid the finance folks to get that dreaded extended warranty that you almost never use. Well, we had an issue that came up lately and repair would be a few thousand to fix. Luckily we had the warranty and all we will pay is the deductable. Was very surprised that the Service Department had our warranty on file. Of course I still had the original paperwork when I bought the car, including the warranty. As that is the type of person I am, keeping all those papers. Making me rethink my idea on extended warranties. I did not buy one for my latest new car from last year. But will consider it. Just thought I would share for all of you and us that get those phone calls asking about your cars extended warranties!

Quoted 70$ for oil change when I dropped the car off but came out to 109$ for just an oil change on a base 2016 hyundai tuscon. Service was fine but cost being 50% more than what was quoted without even a call means I'll find a different place from now on.

My car was rear ended a few months ago. Though I attempted to work out with the person who ran into my bumper, it was not to be. I made a claim against their insurance. Now this...Just picked up my VW Passat from MJ Sullivan's Body Shop. I am more than thrilled! A HUGE THANK YOU to Geico, Jim at MJ Sullivan's Body Shop and Enterprise for making this a great experience.I dropped off my car, was provided a rental through Geico Insurance and picked up a beautifully repaired and cleaned car.Thank you all again. Made my day!

I just want to say thank you so much to everyone at MJ Sullivan especially joe lamonica. He went absolutely above and beyond to help me get my first car not a length he didn’t go to make sure I had everything I needed and more for that I could not be more appreciative. Myself and my family will continue to business here you feel welcome and you feel worthy weather you are buying or leasing a car. I appreciate you thank you so much!
