Horrible customer service, no type of communication whatsoever, the manager changed my appointment without my knowledge, had me waiting like I didn’t have nothing better to do just for me to find out the technician will not be coming. This people played with my time for a whole month. Absolute nonsense

I got a great quote online and they deployed their mobile shop within a few days of setting the appointment. They forgot my wiper blades at the store but they gladly offered to have me come in and get them put on for free. Super nice guys.

I brought my Model 3 in for the repair of a small chip in the windshield for an 8:00am appointment. I arrived early & to my surprise, employees were already there preparing for their day. I left the key at the front desk with a pleasant young lady, who had explained the process regarding the repair and/or replacement of my windshield. When I returned approximately 30 minutes later they were just finishing up with the repair work. The technician explained what work he had performed, and how I should proceed if the repair turns out to fail over time. Safelite will work with your insurance so that you can just drive in and they'll handle the rest. The staff was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. I would recommend Safelite (and the New London, CT location) for your glass repair. This was my second time working with this location.

Charisse, the manager, could not be more rude. You would think a company that books appointments online, sends multiple text and email reminders, would contact you if they can't make it to their 5 hour appointment window. Nope, zero consideration for your time as many other reviewers state.
The phones go off promptly at 5pm and if you try to call, you're in automated hell. The tech was supposed to call on his way. Why no call when you're not coming?...... I had nothing better to do on July 3rd.
I managed to rebook my own appointment. I called to the local shop this morning to get the first appointment of the day, as I can see how this has gone for others. I told Charisse I was annoyed with having wasted a day already. I'm 2.5 miles from the shop. The first appointment request isn't unreasonable considering you blew off my first appointment. Charisse hung up on me. You cant call the local store directly. You have to kill 15 minutes going through an automated system, then a regional office, before you can speak to the people that actually service your vehicle. Hanging up on me shows how much you value your customers and their time after your screw up.
I called GEICO and switched to Glass America. You should do the same.

I was the last appointment for the day and accidentally left my phone at home. They had tried calling me since noon (my appointment was at 4pm) To see if I could come earlier. Unfortunately I didn't get their messages obviously and showed up at 4. They were irritated I could tell, which I felt bad about. I kept apologizing but it seemed to fall on deaf ears to a couple of the employees. Although one was nice about it. I didn't do it purposely. But they finished my car quickly, which I greatly appreciated. This was the 2nd time I've used Safelite to repair glass on my car I was very satisfied both times. Thanks Safelite!

Staff were so friendly and helpful with my windshield replacement. I was a little bit concerned after reading some of the reviews saying they took a long time and left broken glass in cars. This was not my experience at all! They were efficient with my windshield replacement, and my car was returned just as clean inside as it had been when I dropped it off.

Is there any way you can have someone to be receiving the calls because someone can not book an appointment without knowing how much it will cost me. When calling the 860 the automated machine is not helping. i just had an accident so i wanted to know how much it will cost once the body is fixed.

They should not even receive 1 star honestly. Very awful customer service. I waited for the tech to come and look at my windshield because it was making strange noise for almost 3 hrs past the time frame I was given. I called them and I found out they had no intentions of coming. The manager took it upon herself to cancel my appointment!! How do you just cancel someone’s appointment and not even notify them? When I spoke to her she even had the audacity to tell me if I keep making appointments she will keep canceling them because there is nothing wrong with their work. Needless to say I ended up having my car checked out at the Manchester branch. They did a great job fixing my issue.
The manager in New London Charisse (not sure if spelling) was very unprofessional and rude as well as dishonest. Some retraining is definitely needed!!

Safelite did not show up 4 consecutive times over 4 weeks. After waiting over one month to have my car windshield replaced I had to find another repair shop because I could not even get them to return my calls, even when they stated they would investigate and get back to me they did not. They refused to let me talk with management. The only insight they offered, was after the second time they did not show up, stating they were having difficulty obtaining the windows. I ended up scheduling the repair with Mobile Glass Works in Ashaway, RI who obtained the window and completed the replacement within 2 days as scheduled. Safelite not only didn’t replace after four weeks, but just didn’t show up or return calls 4 times - worst service.

Customer service sucks, I got hung up on twice, and when I was finally able to speak with someone, the woman that I spoke with was very rude, my 4th call was finally someone nice and understanding to my situation. My rear windshield shattered and I needed it fixed asap. It happened on a Monday and they were able to send someone to my work that Wednesday. Charles was the tech that came out, he was very nice and explained everything to me. He was very fast too, got it done in about 20 minutes (to be fair it would've taken longer if he needed to remove the windshield but that didn't apply to me). Overall trying to call the customer service is a headache, but once an appointment is scheduled and the tech comes out to help, its a pleasant experience.

Second time coming here in two yearsThe techs have absolutley no respect or care for cutomer vehicles. Had my windshield replaced today, upon pick up wiper blades was on backwards and dash, seats and floor were covered in glass shards, and they gougedmy driver side apillar cover with a knife as well as none of the trim being installed propwrly and adhesive all over exterior paint. Absolutley awful

Awful service and can not even call them ask them questions. I was force to go online and make an appointment. I had poor quality window from them very blurry window and not safe to drive!! I’m not happy!! Unacceptable!!
