My son and I purchased a car about a week ago from MJ Sullivan. We had an amazing car dealing experience. We worked with Bob Patt - He is a super friendly salesperson, knowledgeable, and so helpful. He never pressured us to purchase the car. Bob spent quality time with us and we could not be happier. We truly will miss Bob's sense of humor! We felt like family at this dealership. Aaron the finance person was very pleasant and the transaction was quick and easy. MJ Sullivan dealership is Top Notch Team! and we would definitely purchase another vehicle from them in the future. Thank you again, We love our camero!

Had an appointment to look at a car on a Saturday and worked with Diangelo. He was very easy to work with and personable. The process was smooth and easy and he wasn't pushy. Aaron morello in the finance department was also very helpful. I would definitely buy from them again in the future.

My grandfather bought a car from this dealership. He is 94 years old. A month after buying the car water was leaking from the windshield. We had to argue with them to cover this under the warranty. They also sold him a car with a dead battery. They reluctantly changed the battery which went dead again after a few weeks. He had to get another battery from another place. About 9 months after that, not even a year of having the cat, he now has to get a new transmission. How can a place do this to an elderly man who live alone?! Just terrible. Wouldn’t recommend.

MJ Sullivan Auto equates to top of the line auto dealership. From the smiling face of John Spinnato as you walk in the doors to a low pressure salesman Bob Patt who lets the product sell itself. A finance department that makes you comfortable with their vast knowledge and then there is the firm handshake and Thank You from Bill Sullivan. Absolutely a dealership that MJ envisioned and built. I know the service department will take good care of my new car just as they always have. A dealership I have trusted and done business with for 50 years. Thank you all.

NEVER. EVER. BUY FROM THIS PLACE. MJ Sullivan is full of greedy car salesmen than sell horrible, defective cars. My 94 YEAR OLD GRANDFATHER unfortunately need a new car to get around in his golden years. He saw a car he wanted at MJ Sullivan and after the dealer not negotiating on the price with him at all, my grandfather decided to still buy the car because he didn't feel like haggling or shopping around in his old age. ONE WEEK after having the car we noticed leaking inside the car and had to have the windshield replaced due to a beak in the seal. TWO MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING the car needed a new battery, guess what MJ Sullivan did? They replaced his battery WITH ANOTHER BUM BATTERY, charged him full price, and he needed another battery a week later. Now SIX MONTHS after purchasing he needs a new transmission for the car and MJ Sullivan is claiming no responsibility for selling a 94 year old man a piece of junk. He will have to pay $6k out of his retirement money to replace it. Please please save your money and do not purchase from the scam artists at this car dealership

I am very very upset today Fri 02Jun23!. On 5/22/23, I called the New London CT Chevy Service center booked appt for regular maintenance & reminded that my brakes needed to be checked. He noted it and booked me down for Fri 5/26/23.So last Fri 5/26/23,, I got my vehicle in then mentioned again to the service advicer at the front desk... that alongside the regular maintenance, they should check my brakes. He acknowledged and told me approx time to wait. 1.5 hours later, he came to me handed my keys and told me I was all set. And that my brakes were still 60 - 70% okay. I was glad, couple days later, made a trip to NY.During the journey, on the highway, I noticed my brakes were still making a soft grinding sound when stepped on. I was concerned but not much at the time because I believed the dealers service center would properly analyzed /checked it; and if there was anything major, they would have told me.While in NY, car was mostly parked, I only ran 3 errands to help pick up my friend's child from sch (abt 1 mile) And a trip to the mall on 6/1/23. It was during this trip I noticed the grinding getting worse at every traffic light.I was too terrified to travel back with vehicle in that condition. I cancelled my trip and stayed an extra day in NY.As early as 7.50am I took it to the ADVANTAGE Chevrolet Brooklyn NY on 1575 86th St. The lady at the Front Desk was so helpful squeezed me in amidst their tight Friday schedule though I did not (so that I could at least make my trip back). The ADVANTAGE Chevrolet team found that my Brakes were grinding "metal to metal and the pads had nothing on them"!I was shocked! To think that I was on I-95 driving in this condition...without being aware that my vehicle may have been in an accident prone condition and could have been an endangerment not just to me but to other drivers on the road!!I was livid! Especially because I repeated over and over again at MJ Sullivan New London CT dealership... that my brakes needed to be checked at next serving (I repeated it to the front desk guy 3x!!).When he returned my keys, he told me that my brakes still had 60-70% life in them. How is it possible that these metal on metal state of brakes had 60% or even 50% usage left in them? Did they even check??What I if I had gotten into a brakes failed situation on the highway? What if someone was critically injured or died in an accident? This is totally unacceptable!I have been thinking, do Chevy dealership service centers become nonchalant when you no longer have an active manufacturers' warranty with them?I have been regularly conducting the scheduled maintenances with them since I bought the vehicle, and very upset this carelessness. Now, of course due to the state of the brakes etc, it may have caused additional damages and I was billed close to $1200 in NY here to get this fixed before hitting the road. I am not happy at all with MJ Sullivan New London Chevy Service Center ? ?

I had bought a 2013 Ford escape from MJ Sullivan from Nick Lombardi. With only "62,000" miles on it. First by the wear and tear on the steering wheel, and black tape on the door seals and hatch back. It was obviously much older. I asked Nick Lombardi serval times for clips he had promised me in July 2022. Still have not received them. Then my sunroof got struck opened. Went to dealership and spoke with Mr Lombardy he came out pushed closed button said it might be switch. Advice me to go in back to ask for Mike I was pushed out to someone else who went to car pushed closed button and said it might be switch or motor. Spent 15 seconds with me. . I used a tarp to cover it at night. When the heavy rain and wind came last night the wind blew the,the tarp opened on top. My car is flooded and ruined! because no one told me anything. I asked for the manual,Mr. Lombardy asked wasn't in car? Then went into office and sat down.never given me the manual probably because they didn't have it. CD player doesn't work. This car odometermost likely turned back. I am waiting for SSD and I have no chance of getting another car. Thank you MJ SULLIVAN and MR LOMBARDI. BTW the sunroof motor was already replaced at least once or more times, you can tell by the roof being torn from windshield

After hearing many radio ads about the dealership wanting to buy used cars I brought my 2016 Shelby Mustang with 8000 milers over to see if there was any interest in buying the car. A salesman told me that they would be interested but that I would have to talk to the sales manager Greg Cane who would be back at 3 that afternoon and call him then. I called at 3 and a salesman told me he was in but was busy. Greg said to the salesman take my name and number and he would call me back. Well I never got a call back! Do you really want to deal with a dealership that advertizes something and does not have the respect to give you a callback.

This Dealership advertises on the radio that they want to buy used cars. On January 4th I brought my 2016 Shelby mustang 8,000 miles over to see if they were interested in buying it. A salesman told me they were interested but I would have to call when the sales manager was in at 3 that day. I called at 3 and Greg Cane was in but I was told he was busy. Greg said to the person that I was talking to get my name and number and that he would call back. After 2 days no call! Do you want to deal with a dealership that advertises something and doesn't have the decency to give you a callback?

Excellent experience. First time a dealership/salesman didn’t pressure me or try to add costs! DeAngelo (my salesman) was so cool and patient; a nice man and knowledgeable. We negotiated a price and my trade in value and that was the deal. Even in the final signing there were no “surprises”. Just straightforward and relaxed. Again, this is the first time in my 58 years I’ve had such an experience. Highly recommend.

Awful service, poor communication between staff and customer, and long wait times. Wait times for an oil change with appointment are over an hour. Than it took them 10 minutes to locate my key, after taking 5 minutes to find my paperwork to pay. 15 minutes total to check out. All this for an oil change.
