Lou’s did a great job moving my furniture from my storage unit in Waterford to my house in East Lyme and they were the best price out of everyone in the entire area, I would recommend them to anyone and I’m going to use them for painting the interior of my house this week as well, Thank You Lou’s I’m so pleased.

The guy's at Lou's were wonderful and got the job done with great results and cleaned our place afterwards for free plus they were cheaper than anyone else in all of New London County we were so pleased, extremely helpful with Handyman Service's as well.

They don't show up on time. Then they try to bump you up from what they estimated after seeing your stuff that has to be moved. Every time you turn around there has to be a five man meeting about something. They take twice as long to get to your destination as you do. And then they blame it on the GPS. And then some of your stuff is damaged and you don't find that out until you unpack. Day two of my move was to clean out my storage unit and bring it to my house. I got no call or text that they were not going to show up for a family emergency had apparently come up. It is now almost 2 weeks later and they have not even attempted to reschedule. Just tell me you don't wanna do the job. I would never recommend them to anybody.

Lou moved us from East Lyme to our new home in Mystic and they were wonderful ❤, plus they painted our interior of our house with amazing results I would recommend them for all local moving our handyman projects

After a walkthrough of my apartment I received a quote which included a trip to a town dump, at a reasonable price. There were several long breaks which was a partly reason for the delay. Suffice it to say that the attitude was not professional. During thev and the move concluded at 12:30 AM. During the loading process a passerby was interested in some items and the movers set them aside in a common area of which I was unaware. They remained there until I was asked to return to the dump. Keep in mind that I was charged for the dump fee. However those items were left at our dumpster!! Actually there is much more to add to this review. But the bottom line is poor service, poor communication, and after my experience I give this outfit less than one star.

Cancelled on us the morning of the move after asking the day before to reschedule because of rain. We had a specific day to be out and had no choice but to somehow get the move done ourselves. Based on previous reviews I'm not surprised to see them making excuses to not work when they don't want to.

I had a four bedroom house in East Lyme, CT that I needed help moving. This company was professional, easy to work with, easy to get a hold of, efficient and friendly. Would recommend them and use them again.

I just wanted to thank Eric and his team for their help. They were punctual, professional and friendly. I needed help moving a four bedroom home in East Lyme, CT and I have to say that it was a stress-free experience. I'd recommend them and utilize their services again in the future.

Painted three bedrooms in my Mom's house and among other things helped me repair an old rotten wooden deck that needed work. Great attitude, good work, and great price for all of the work they did! I would highly recommend this service to anyone! Nice job guys!

This company is the only one that's down to Earth and works well with the customer's and actually talks to you like a person and not a job contract, local family owned and from the New London County area is why and i love that ! .. they moved us with care and went out of their way to disassemble, reassemble and hang upall our wall mounted items like pics and TV's ,we were very happy and would use this company again.

If I could leave zero stars I would...the worst unprofessional owner to deal with that on the day of the move that we hired them for ghosted us and when they said they would show up at a certain time never showed up and stopped answering the calls to reach them to find out what happened to them. Also when we first called Eric the owner we specifically said we had a very heavy 600 lb safe that needed to be moved he agreed to it and never once said they could not move something that heavy... ON THE DAY of the move ONLY AN HOUR BEFORE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SHOW UP TO HELP, when he called and had to ask again what needed to be moved and we mentioned everything AGAIN including the safe he started hemming and hawing saying they couldn’t move something so heavy, they didn’t have a ramp for the truck, they didn’t know about the safe and spewing all kinds of excuses to us when there were three witnesses that heard us mention when he first agreed to move us, that he could move the safe. Well when we told him he should have been paying attention on the first call and if he couldn’t move it he should have told us right away so we could have hired someone capable that could have moved us. Instead Eric and his team never showed up to the job they agreed to help with and stopped answering our calls. To say unprofessional and rude is an understatement...his company left us high and dry an hour before we had to move and were relying on his company to help us. DO NOT USE ERIC OR HIS COMPANY. UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONA!!!

Do not use this company . This company gave a quote to a relative that was moving. She had an assigned time and date for the movers to come. She was all set everything was in boxes. The movers show up, only two, and proceed to tell her that it's going to cost more than the quote. They tell her they are going to call their boss. They leave to go to the truck and call. My relative calls to boss her self and he assures her that they are going to go and get more guys to help move. They never come back. The boss calls and assures her they will be there in the morning with four guys and do the move. The next morning after multiple excuses no one ever shows
