every time i take the drive to come to this one it's always a crap experience, you would think that since it's a super center that has everything, it doesn't. maybe it's just mee, maybe not, but every time i come here i never see any staff or when i do, no greetings, hi, nothing, i get more interaction by fellow patrons than anything else.. the aisles are always a mess and disaster, and most of the ttime they're all empty, especially in the food department.. the main reason i take the 20 min drive to this one is mostly for the food department but it ends up being worthless since most of the stuff is always out... the lines get long and ridiculous sometimes and the parking lot is always a disaster.. if you're reeading this review i hope you have a better experience here.

I love this wal mart bc they have literally been everything. However, the staff member that does the receipt checks is so rude every single time I'm in there and tonight during the thanksgiving craziness he tells me I don't have a pair of pants listed-I check with the cashier and sure enough it was scanned, it was a "machine error" according to him. This has happened on more than this occasion. I work in customer service as a technician, I get yelled at 24/7 by customers, I get it. To f*** with someone every time they're in your store? Not okay

The air outside this Walmart is putrid and likely an environmental hazard to all who inhale. Proceed at your own risk, preferably with a respirator/mask.

pretty much the worst experience you can have in a store. i dont mean just 1 worst experience , every visit. the cashiers ..wow..no smile, no greeting, you can even say hello to them..nothing, defiant glare..employees around the store who never know where anything is...i force myself to use this store because the Branford one is another 20 mins from me and im lazy...saw a cashier go off on a manager..she actually won the battle he walked away head down as she was still ranting ...crazy place

I had a very positive experience at this Walmart- all because of one of their customer service representatives, Jessica. I was fortunate enough to be transferred to her when I called for information regarding a chair I was trying to purchase. I needed to find out whether, if the chair wasn't right, it could be returned and at what cost. Jessica quickly point out that the chair I was trying to buy would not qualify for free returns but a basically identical one would be. I was especially impressed that- her own - she also offered me a discount code. I would have never been able to know what chair to buy and how to get the discount. People like Jessica are often the face of a store, and Jessica was a friendly, helpful and smiling one throughout. I'm very pleased and very grateful.

Have not been here for awhile. They have remodeled the story to improve the shopping experience. I feel that overall they have the best prices. They have a large grocery area, which includes meat and vegetables. The biggest problem with these big box stores, is trying to find your items. I ran into that today, but they have plenty of help that can direct you to the items that you are looking for. I love shopping at Walmart both online and at the store. It's does not have the experience you get at Whole Foods or Fresh Market , but it is a lot cheaper

This store apparently has no quality control or concern for customer safety and satisfaction. Food is still being sold with broken seals, damaged goods are returned to the shelves instead of to the manufacturer all to be purchased again by an unsuspecting customer. Customers are opening or damaging food (crushed bags of potato chips, crushed taco shells, seals torn or missing from jars and bottles) and leaving it on the shelves in addition to employees restocking damaged/returned items without consequences. You get home with your purchases only to find its been tampered with, doesn't work or its missing needed pieces. Its definitely buyer beware at this store!

Horrible ! Empty shelves , dirty . Just drive to another town they do not have a good selection of anything and yet the space is huge .

Purchased a box of crackers, flatbread Italian and herb crackers. Box came closed, but had be opened.. probably from somebody munching on them in the store.. and putting them back on the shelf exactly where they got them because I purchased them from the spot where all the crackers were. I pulled out the bag when I got home and it had been opened folded over and had a piece of clear scotch tape over it.. totally disgusted.

Don't. About a week ago I went here to buy a bathing suit. My body is a little chunky and pretty disproportionate with the fat I have. I'm one of those ladies that ALWAYS has to try my clothes on before purchasing them. Anyway, not only did they not have a selection of bathing suits in my size, but when I went to the dressing room to ask if I could try it on, the two women were talking to each other, looked at me, still talked to each other, then looked at me again like why you still here? And said "you can't try on a bathing suit" Now at this point I'm just mad. So I go to my boyfriend and tell him what just happened, and to be honest, neither of us have ever heard of a Walmart not letting you try on anything. So he started an argument with the two women and then ye woman says "I know my job" in a snippy attitude. We told the manager on duty after she wouldn't call a manager for us. That manager told us that they would tell the top manager. I highly doubt they did. And btw, the bathing suit was too small And here's the icing on the cake. I just went in tonight, because my parents are out of milk at the house. My dad is super picky and really only drinks whole milk. I know it's "supposed to" snow tomorrow, but the whole thing of whole milk was empty, while the whole thing of 2% was filled, with a whole pallet in the back. I'm sorry but what? Anyway, we got two half gallons instead, the guy that helped us was pretty nice tbh, he was doing dairy but I didn't see him name. He should be the only one getting a raise at this ghetto s*** joke of a store. Anyway.. We get up to the register, and there's only two registers open. The woman at the self check out started closing it up already. There were four registers in total but two of them were closed already. I thought the one all the way at the other side of the store wouldn't have a huge amount of people, but when we got down there, there was a big line with huge cart full of stupid s**** So I said "ok, let's go back" When we went back to the line we were just In, the woman turned off her light and told my boyfriend she was closed. That was only ONE register that was open then. Are you f****** kidding me.? 10:30, you close at 12. Why is all of your employees in the front of the store goofing off, talking with one another, and not taking care of customers needs. I feel like nothing good was going for me and no one gave a s*** because I was the only f****** white person in the whole damn store. I hate to bring race into it but god damn. I wasted my money because I had to go to a gas station and buy milk for 5$. F*** you.

The woman at the deli was by far the rudest Walmart associate I have ever encountered in shopping at the store over the past 20 years. When I went to the checkout I had two coupons and she swiped both across the scanner, but only one registered, but she finish the transaction anyway. When I realized this upon looking at the receipt, she gave me a hard time about wanting the value of the coupon, when it was her mistake in the first place. I don't think going to Walmart should be aggravating but that trip was.

This is definitely the worst Wal-Mart ever, every time you come here something happens, either no cashiers and lines of people or bad service by the employees. Just came out of here after spending several minutes on the cashier, woman buying using WIC cancelled her entire order leaving the poor cashier to remove everything on the register, after several minutes of failing attempts she flashes the light so a manager comes over to void one last thing, no where to be find, when she finally comes, the WIC lady comes back and she starts her order again with four people that have been waiting in line for several minutes already, not mad at all at the cashier but at the manager who came and service the WIC lady before any body else in line. That's b******* on her part...
