“We have been bringing our dog to VAW for eight years and have always been happy with their service. However, I've recently been receiving spam from affiliated solicitors spoofing as Veterinary Associates of Westville (even if I didn't mind solicitors, it's confusing and a little shady that they appear to come from the vet's office). VAW confirmed that they had indeed shared their clients' email addresses with third parties but couldn't remove me from that list and suggested I unsubscribe from the individual emails instead - an option I've found only once so far, and not something I appreciate having to deal with in the first place.”

The level of communication is appreciated and we super appreciate their updates as MJ goes through her vet appt that she has about every 6 months. She has to get sedated to be groomed and I love knowing she is in great hands when I drop her off. Highly recommend!”

“During the hardest time in our life after the rapid decline of our 9 year old best friend and bad experiences with previous vets, we turned to Dr.D and his staff, not knowing what to expect when we had to make the difficult decision to put our beautiful dog down. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the immense amount of compassion and care we were shown. From the initial greeting at the front desk, to the way Dr. D was right there with us petting our Gus and whispering sweet words in his ear as he drifted away, it was the best case scenario for such a tragic and emotional day. “Been with this clinic since Dr Cohen and we love Dr Mags and the office set up. He takes time with the animals which matters greatly to me. They’ve done a lot of work on the clinic and monitor the ‘traffic flow’ which is appreciated. We trust Dr Mags with my service dog’s health issues and my dog trusts him…and Alby. ;) Always awesome to have Alby around during visits. I think Alby has helped make the vet a positive place for my dog! :) I look forward to bringing future service dogs in training here to get some reassurance and training from Alby and a good positive vet experience with Dr Mags.”

“I took my fur baby to this place not trusting to many of the vets out there . The young lady at the front desk with tattoos, I believe her name was Megan. She did such a great job answering my questions and calming not only me down but also my dog! He's not around other people much so he's anxious. Something about her reassured him I guess because he went right with her. She went above and beyond to make me feel better and comfortable. I knew I made the right choice 2 minutes into our interaction. Just wanted to say ty to her for going above and beyond her job description!”

“I could not be happier with Dr. Valentino and the staff at Pond Point Animal Hospital! Truly! Ruby is an excitable Australian Shepard, who, last time there was a terror, and I was worried. Well she was merely excited this time .... Dr. Valentino was wonderful and gave Ruby a great exam, and was very attentive to her behavior and engaged me during the exam keeping me attuned to what she was doing. I was very pleased. I think it takes a special talent and personality to be a "good" veterinarian.... Who treats not only our pets but us as well.... Dr. Valentino does this admirably well! I wish you oodles of success at Pond Point - I will happily refer anyone who asks for a vet.....”

“I see some reviews where people complained about waiting for their visit. In 2022 Dr. Mendillo spent a lot of time with our less than 6 year old Boxer Mel when it was time to euthanize him. His mast cell tumor was ginormous and infected and my husband and I were having a difficult time saying good bye. Dr. Mendillo and Courtney were absolutely wonderful with our boy. I will never complain about waiting now that I know how they spend their time. We have two 11 month old Boxers and they are under Dr. Mendillo's care.”

“Have been coming here for over 15 years. When another Vet said my pups time was limited, I got a 2nd opinion with Dr. Lipsit. My pup gained another 8 years under her care. She now takes care of my two newer pups. It is pricey, but it is worth it for the care you get from the best team. When we can't see Dr Lipsit, we see one of the other Doctors on staff. I have totally confidence in all of them!”

“We have been using Dr Jeff for 30+ years, highly recommend him. He and is staff are caring and supportive with any questions and concerns we may have. Dr. does not up charge for unnecessary
testing and has kept my pets happy and healthy for many years .”

“There were a couple times when they had forgotten something and I had to visit twice in the same day.

Once was when they had forgotten to give my dog one of her vaccines and asked me to come back in the same day and the second time they had forgotten to give me her prescription food. I had to leave work to come back both times before they closed.

Thankfully they understood the inconvenience and quickly handled the situation by waiving some fees.

“We recently adopted a pup here and have been totally satisfied with the experience. This is our first dog rescue, our other dogs were all purchased through breeders or pet stores. Communication has been great, we got to see the dog before deciding and it was a great touch leaving us in the room alone with the dog so that we could discuss things privately before committing. These decisions shouldn't be taken lightly and the seriousness about the well being of the animals they care for is clearly evident. Fees have been very affordable and dates and rates for future care have been established beforehand. This clinic provides for a great avenue to become a first parent or a once again parent as they do an outstanding job setting up new parents for success.”

“DR.WEILL SAVED MY DOGS LIFE!!
I am so appreciative of all of the time, effort, and care that Dr.Weill is putting in to ensure my 3 year old dog Annie is back to her happy and healthy self. Dr. Weill was quickly able to diagnose annie with pancreatitis and tell us everything we needed to know to get Annie back to shape when she was nearly on her death bed. When I first took Annie into the urgent care, her initial veterinarian wanted Annie to potentially stay in their care throughout the week. I thought I was going to be financially crippled (her first visit to urgent care was already over a thousand dollars). After talking with Dr. Weill he ensured me that I could take Annie home (which I did) follow his regimen and she would be back to tip top shape. That’s exactly what I did, and I am so thankful that I did because Annie is all back to her normal self. The attention to detail and knowledge that Dr. Weill brought to Annie’s care is the single reason she is with us today and why i didn’t have to spend thousands of dollars out of pocket in another office.”

They really take their time to give her lots of love before the appointment starts and I feel that they just genuinely love the animals. They also are always available with any questions you have either during the appointment or just any time. They have great communication. “Dr. Dolcort is wonderful. Does not push for anything other than what is necessary. Is always so nice to my dogs and my littlest dog that I had to bring in yesterday is always a nervous wreck, and was surprisingly calm! “We've been going to Ridgehill Animal Hospital since 1997, so we feel we truly know this place well, and we're happy with the care given. We especially love Stacy at the front desk, she's kind beyond kind, and we love Dr. Moruzzi, she is a treasure, she's unbelievably knowledgeable, skilled, patient and kind. We adore her, she's taken care of our pets for almost ten years now. We just got a new puppy and she has given us excellent care as always. She made her spay surgery with hernia repair an easy experience and recovery for our puppy. She also took care of our love, our Coco, who was the best girl, she was a rescue, she was up in age, and Dr. DiLeone cured her Mast cell tumor, and later Dr. Moruzzi kept her well for years with Cushing disease, she also repaired Coco's knee with a TPLO surgery that was a complete success!! Sadly, yesterday at 15+, we had to say goodbye to our Coco, she developed a heart murmur that caused a stroke, it was time, a decision that broke us to make, we had to rely on a vet we didn't know, over the holiday week, but we have to give a huge thank you to Dr. Everett!!! She is incredible, she told us what we needed to know to make the right decision, she stayed with us through the whole process, she gave us time to grieve, to say goodbye as a family, and she did it with great knowledge, compassion and love. We will always be grateful for her, she was like an angel of mercy who walked into the room and held our hands through it all, making sure that our baby was given a graceful and painless experience as she went to the other side. She was held by her whole family, and had love and respect around her the entire time. We should all be so lucky to have a final send off like that!! Thank you to these angels for keeping our girl healthy and happy through the years, and thank you for helping her in the end too, the team at Ridgehill were part of protecting a beautiful life and we are grateful.”
