Re:My last review of 180 center is in need of a an update: to ZERO stars. I thought leaving a review of constructive criticism was the right thing to do. When I asked God about what recently occurred, he placed it upon my Heart NOT to stay quiet. The spirit of God is truly not in how your staff treated me at all, and I quote the last time I as a REAL homeless female stayed at your warming center your staff member laughed in my face and said: "When are you going to sit on my face?!" No lie and no joke. DO NOT ALLOW ABUSE OF WOMEN TO OCCUR EVER AGAIN BY YOUR ESTABLISHMENT, SERVE ONLY MEN BC YOU ARE BIAS I AM NOT. 180 purposely allowed me to not receive a basic lifelife of a replacement cellphone. It was sent in an emergency situation to 180, your staff was informed multiple times, and your lack of discretion truly I speak only to ANY person in need don't go here for healing, prayers, or ANYTHING at all. This is a SAD excuse for a Christian center. ✝️
Absolutely amazing accommodations inside for a local warming shelter ❤️ except their biggest flaw is absolutely the sexist nature of all towards homeless women due to this 180 center being connected to only male sober houses. Please be aware that there is definitely favorites here, most in need who stand in line for a few hours won't get in here, and the owner absolutely needs to take responsibility for a very poor mentality towards non-italians and addicts who are in need of real equal treatment.

A place where the Word of God is taught. No matter what age, the Word of God is profitable for teaching, reading, hearing, and studying until death do us part. ?

I too would like to report the same sentiments as previous posters. I went through their "intensive program" a year or two ago. Big mistake. You aren't allowed to read books, newspapers, hear any radios or mp3s. You have to have prior authorization to ask them to use their phone to make any emergency calls and a "staff" member will be present the entire time (actually just another member of the program). Serving the homeless food was cool but that's pretty much it. I'm religious myself and trust me when I say this place will breed contempt for religion and really make you resent Christianity. I had no problem with the 16 month long terms. It was being bossed round by two senior program members (it was just me, some kid and two homeless guys who were about to "graduate" in the program which should have been a red flag immediately). There is zero accountability within the program itself and really shouldn't be called a rehabilitation program at all. There were bedbugs in the small apartment we all slept in. When I asked about refilling my SSRI I was told to pray on it. I'm really surprised they haven't been sued or that it hasn't been closed down. The other young guy in the program was suicidal and thought if he reported it he could somehow get access to mental health treatment and go to the psych ward as a last resort. Nope. Pastor Mike simply talked to the kid and that was it.On the plus side though, if it means anything you get access to "house tobacco" and can roll yourself 10-15 cigarettes a week! I don't smoke but I guess that might be important to some people.

I have had the pleasure of staying at 180 for a week. I have found it to be WARM & WELCOMING! The facility is kept extremely clean, and sanitized. The floors, yoga mats, and blankets are washed and sanitized after each use. Bathrooms have new fixtures and are kept extremely clean and sanitized. Great free coffee/snacks. There is a crew of wonderful men and women who make your stay very pleasant and comfortable. From Monday-Friday, you can stay until 2:00 pm and participate in Bible Studiesin/Testimonials from men&women sharing personal stories of triumph over tragic circumstances. I find the 180 Center to be a lovely break from the harsh reality of being without permanent housing in the dead of winter....KUDOS TO PASTOR MIKE, and HIS STAFF FOR MAKING ME FEEL SAFE, WARM and PROTECTED. GOD BLESS EVERYONE FOR THEIR HARD WORK and GRACIOUS HOSPITALITY ?? Susan Z.

I’ve spoken to a few people who have gone through the program and attended church. They all echoed a similar sentiment that the 180 Center is full of caring individuals who are always willing to lend a hand and help in anyway they can.
