I’m giving this 5 stars for the actual church itself. Beautiful church, I wanted to love it, but the parishioners need to learn how not to talk in the church. Conversations are for outside or after Mass. Not before Mass and at full volume. The congregation is very old, no young families here. Unfortunately it seems like it may be a dying church.

I love this Church. My immigrant Grandparents were married here in 1911. I had a few questions. I prefer speaking to a person instead of checking websites.

The church is clean and in a nice location. I visited the church with my husband and 10 month old twins. I’m looking for a church to bring up my kids after moving to New Haven from NYC. After speaking with the office manager I thought she was informative and helpful. Very nice lady. However, The church is not diverse at all (in NYC all churches are very very diverse) and while the clergy is very professional, the members of the church are not. Let’s just say we did not feel welcome. I will continue looking for a Catholic Church in New Haven. If anyone has any suggestions please share.

This is a very beautiful old church that has had very few changes on the architecture, but, and this is very important.. the clergy running this parish have been influenced by worldly opinions, being very, very, liberal. They have changed both bathrooms to unisex and tell their parishioners that it's ok, people are just born gay. Father McGivney is lying there in the back of the church and must be so upset by this filth. You priests will have to give an account of this when you meet with God. You are messed up emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically.
