I met Michael (one of the stylist’s there) at at really cute bar I used to go to near my house and I’m honestly so glad that I went to go visit him at work! Such a cute saloon in the heart of new haven so you can also grab a bite to eat after! Over all I had such an amazing experience and I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for 5 star haircut ? also the way they shampoo your hair there is to DIE FOR!

I always had great experiences here until recently when I got a cut/color I didn’t like. They attempted to fix it, and I told them I still wasn’t happy. Spoke to the owner who was pretty dismissive and told me my stylist would contact me. I texted her multiple times but she never replied. Honestly, my feelings are hurt more than anything because I considered her a friend. Normally, I don’t write bad reviews but I feel quite disrespected as someone who has gone to Rimage for a few years now.Update: she finally replied after several days . Continued to try and convince me that this is what I asked for. Said she was angry at me for complaining.No one ever reached out to me again to rectify. Seems he only replies publicly on Google

Friend had a bad experience, not only did not care to fix the problem, they decided to not respond and take down her post on google reviews with her personal experience. Bad service bad business practice. Would not recommend

I’ve been coming to Barbara for years. I took a bit of a hiatus when a friend of mine started cutting hair around here, but have since come back recently and don’t know why I ever left. Barbara takes extra care — from the wash, to understanding exactly what I’m looking for, to sharing styling tips — she is just great all-around. Best hair salon I’ve ever been to! Len is phenomenal - he cut, colored, and styled my hair and introduced me to Eufora products. I am absolutely in love with his work and the products he recommended. Can’t wait to go back when it’s due for another cut/color!

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Len is an absolute miracle worker/ expert. I went in with very orange/ brassy hair from a DIY quarantine bleaching sesh and came out with healthy, beautifully corrected hair with the exact color and style I was hoping for, all in one session. His attention to detail, professionalism, and determination to do the absolute best makes him by far the best person to go to in New Haven that I’ve gone to so far. I could not recommend him or his salon more. I have very dark black hair and he was able to lighten and tone it to the exact shade of blonde I had wanted all in one session at a very fair price. I will continue to go to Len and would recommend him and his salon to anyone looking for high quality work that uses high quality and eco friendly products at a very fair and reasonable price.Service: Hairstyling

If you want to know what true pampering is, what quality staff is, then do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Rimage. If Heaven has a Salon, it's based on Rimage! Rimage was highly recommended to me by a friend. Barbara cut and colored my hair; I absolutely love it! She is very experienced, and knows what she is doing. She knows how to get you what you want, while offering advice and suggesting what will make you look best. Barbara is easy to talk to but a calming presence. She gave even gave me tomatoes from her home garden. Lenny, Barbara, and Nica made me feel right at home even as a first time client. Thank you again!
