Polmag Deli is a hidden gem in New Haven, cherished by locals and visitors. The incredibly sweet owners lovingly prepare huge and really yummy subs, and hot n fresh homemade pierogies like potato and cheese or mushroom, which are soooo good. They offer delicious perogies and assortments of Polish food. This local establishment represents the community and reminds many of childhood. It is a cool place in the neighborhood, highly recommended for its tasty treats and welcoming atmosphere.
Maggie was so sweet and welcoming. I bought some of her hot n fresh homemade pierogies. We tried the potato and cheese & mushroom. Soooo good and I can’t wait to try more treats.

I'm vegetarian but we were on a tour of cool places in the neighborhood and many people bought things and enjoyed them.
