What a pleasure! This is the very first time I’ve ever had a haircut which was done exactly as I described. I’ve put off having my hair cut because it is so difficult finding quality stylists. I took a chance on Pio of Italy because it’s close by. I am so glad I did. Thanks Kathy!

Kathy is a very polite and skilled hairstylist. She provides consistent services every time and the prices are also reasonable. I would recommend Pio’s, it’s a nice and quiet atmosphere. And everyone is friendly.Services: Haircut

This was so amazing! I recently moved to Connecticut for my studies, and I badly needed a haircut. The salon was well-decorated and felt very homely, and I felt very comfortable and happy throughout my visit. I discussed my concerns with my current hair and what I wanted fixed, and the hairstylist (I believe her name was Kathy?) got all my needs addressed . At the end, I found something that I wanted to be a bit altered, and she was totally accommodating even though I was a bit picky about my hair (I take my hair a bit seriously). My hair looks really sweet, and I'll definitely come back again! Possibly for a touch up on my dyed hair .

After living in and getting my hair done in major metropolitan salons across Singapore and Los Angeles, I can wholeheartedly say that Kathy's haircut has been the most memorable and sincere haircut I have ever received in my life.As a student, I found myself in a conundrum when I wanted to donate my hair to a charity that can make it into wigs for low-income cancer patients who cannot afford the high cost of a wig. The tricky thing is, most haircuts here for hair as long as mine costs $80+. I called around a few hair salons to see if they could offer some sort of affordable pricing or discount for me to donate the hair, and was shocked and deeply touched when Pio of Italy said they would do it for FREE.Kathy cut my hair with the utmost sincerity and care, spending over an hour cutting each layer and communicating with me to ease my anxiety of parting with my long hair. Along the way, we talked about how she had come across owning the salon when the former owner, Pio, sold it to her after she had worked at the salon for over 15 years. The price of the salon? $1. In that moment, it was clear to me that Pio had made the right decision for somebody who was clearly passionate, dedicated to serving others, and sincere about caring for their clients and for the broader community. At the end of the haircut, I asked Kathy if I could at the very least tip her for her time, since she was not charging me for donating the hair. Three times, she insisted that there was no charge. I felt so touched and hope that someday I can also pay forward her generosity and dedication to others. Kathy, I hope your salon continues to thrive! And wishing you all the very best for your upcoming wedding ?Services: Haircut

I live in Seattle,Washington , Des Moines, Washington near Seatac airport. I feel the same way, give an employee a chance who really wants to work and be a part. Be a friend, a family member. We are all human and hugs and handshakes make us feel. I love that, I will spell her name wrong Mara? Mora? She was the best choice %100. I heard the sale for one dollar and his length of ownership and origin of the salon. I have never had a manicure womanicure? but IF I DID I would fly there and get yours. This is an amazing family business and I have heard of the restaurant owner here in Seattle that hires his cooks as part of the family. They are world known restaurant. I have never been to it, but I love the family atmosphere thinking. IT IS AWESOME. also have to say SUE BIRD ROCKS go STORM U.S.A. marry me Sue Bird!!!!

I had the best experience. I was amazed with how on top of client distancing they were and masks which was a wonderful relief to me. For hair cut, I believe I had Zee do my hair, young lady with long dark hair ( I'm terrible with names) but she did my hair so perfectly. I came in with three pictures and some request adjustments to what I wanted and she was so patient and gave me my perfect hair cut. Omg I walked out so happy and now that I washed it myself and let it settle, because that's sometimes where I have found passed hair stylist didn't actually give me when I want. But after I let mine settle the next day I am STILL IN LOVE WITH MY HAIR CUT!!!! She is now going to be my forever hair stylist, I can't wait to go back for a colour with her and my next cut.Seriously, great place, it feels so welcoming there. The online scheduling makes it so convenient and they have amazingly sweet and talented staff that work there. (It also helps that my stylist loves pet pigs like I do).I recommend Pio of Italy to everyone. Love this place.
