Wash & Wag Pet Grooming
1292 Whalley Ave, New HavenHave been coming here for a year. I’ve tried a few places in New Haven, and Wash & Wag has been consistently the best. Always a good experience. Will care for nervous dogs as well. Price is the normal cost as I’ve paid in other places around Connecticut (fairly priced).Drop off 9 am, and then they’ll call you to pickup anywhere between 11:30-2 pm. They tend to book a few weeks out.

Union League Cafe
1032 Chapel St, New HavenI live outside of DC and go to a number of Michelin star restaurants… I will flatly say I have had meals that equalled Union League but never one that exceeded it. Couple in their very reasonable pricing, gorgeous building, great staff and this place is extraordinary. I will be visiting my sister in Milford more often in the future :-)!

Tacos Los Michoacanos
351 Long Wharf Dr, New HavenI got the birria, carne asada flautas, and tacos al pastor. Al pastor tacos are the best in long wharf!!! Flautas were also good, but the birria and the consome was underwhelming (no chunks of meat and pretty bland). Salsa was good but definitely could be a lot more spicier. Will come back for the tacos!!!
