Bank is located inside Stop & Shop, that once a month, I not only pay my "rent" at People's Bank, I can also make a small grocery as well... like the old saying says, "kill 2 (two) birds with 1 (one) stone!" And it's not time consuming, since I love going late to do both anyway!

I truly enjoy this bank. True not all are friendly but they are 3 ladies and one gentlemen Clerance who are very welcoming and goes above and beyond for their customers. I would recommend this bank everytime. Mama always say don't let one bad apple ruin the rest of your basket.

People’s bank is so sorry it don’t make no sense I gave them an account number for me to pay my rent they put my money in the wrong account then when I found out about it the bank couldn’t fix this issue right away I had to wait for Monday for this to get fix I wouldn’t recommend people’s bank to anyone.

I absolutely love this bank! Clarence, Loraine, and Freddy. Are so attentive (sorry if I spelled the names incorrectly!) They really go above and beyond too make sure you get what is in your best interest! I WOULDNT BANK ANYWHERE ELSE. There definitely for the people! Lol

I needed cash for Christmas presents. The Stop and Shop cashier could only give me a $100 bill because her drawer was full. I turned right around to the People's teller to ask for change, and she greeted me with "We're closed." (They closed a full hour later, and there were two tellers working, so it was an obvious lie." I explained I needed change. She said they only give change to bank customers, and asked did I have an account. I said no, and explained again that I didn't want any kind of bank service, just change. She asked where I bank and for my name. The S&S teller called out to me that the store customer service could help me. This is a terrible way to attract new customers! I'm not even sure it's legal for a bank to refuse to make change unless you give your name. And I realized later - I have my mortgage through People's. So yes, I have quite a significant account with them. And when people ask for recommendations for home mortgages, I'll remember this experience.

For a branch with so many awards displayed I don't understand why they have them. They often ask too many invasive questions while doing your banking. A simple transaction ends up taking far too long. Also, do not take any unsolicited advice from the branch vice president Scott Zimmerman. Many have complained that he gives false tax and financial advice. And finally, the majority who work in that branch don't seem too friendly with people of color. Unless you appear as though you live in the suburbs, be prepared to be treated in an untrusting manner.
