Go to any other M&T bank besides the one on church street, a bunch of low life’s unprofessionals working at this branch. Went to the one on Woodbridge and problem was solved.

I've had a terrible experience with M&T since they bought out Peoples United, the bank I previously was using. New debit card never arrived in the mail and when I went in to request a new one, not only did they say it would take a week to arrive, but I log into my bank account the next day and see that they charged me $25 to have a new card shipped! In person they did not tell me anything about this fee!Further, payments made from M&T to various companies (utilities, credit cards, rent) are taking more than a week to clear my account and is causing a huge problem. I'm closing my account today and highly suggest anyone considering M&T go elsewhere.

This is the worst bank. Do not bank here. They have ridiculous service charges for any and everything that you do. They withdraw money from accounts without your consent. This is a bad business. Do not trust them with your money.

The only reason I went to this bank was coin counter. you have to pay a few percent money, otherwise you have to have their accounts. however, certain tricky reason, you gotta use online banking or ATM. they played around cut off day. no matter what they will take your money. not a good bank.
