I grabbed something quick a little while ago and had my enormous dog with me (10 months and almost 100lbs). The gentlemen at the counter not only had a milk bone for her, he grabbed some tissues and tried to clean off the sleep boogers from her eyes (she just woke up). Good people, very welcoming and highly recommended.

Hours are a bit random and they need to update Google...online said they were open so I went and they definitely were not open, and they post no hours on their door. Confused!

Not worth the visit unless you're there for the outdoor seating.Pretty bad selection of wine. Seems like a dumping ground for a distributor. There's definitely no one in charge of selection. Anything you like won't be in stock ever again after they sell the one case of it they got.Sales people are usually chill but one woman sold me a fruit bomb after I asked for a dry red. I tried to return it and she got very rude and defensive. I understand if you can't take the return but at least try to learn about what you are selling. Go to Bottles on state street instead for friendly service and better wine knowledge

This is my local liquor store. For at least 20 years it was my go to. HOWEVER the new owner(s) and staff treated me so poorly that I am posting a review to remind others that there are many option in East Rock. Find a liquor store that will treat you right and appreciate your purchases. Shop elsewhere‼

I had a very disheartening experience here with the store clerk. She was a blonde woman with curly hair. She told me today this store does not want “customers like me” and spoke of her religion. Being a queer customer I felt very attacked and uncomfortable. Great selection of wines but I will not be back. I will take my business to a place that welcomes all people and treats others with kindness.

Cashier seems to have anger management issues and is hateful towards certain groups of people. Weird to be spewing hate at customers speaking about religion during an alcohol transaction. Ill never be back after her psychotic break in the store screaming at customers yikes

Cashier woman with curly blond is on of the rudest person I've ever seen encountered. I was surprised to receive this treatment as a customer. Regardless of how good the wine here is the cashier is enough for me not to come back and tell everyone not to come back!

Friendly neighborhood package store with great variety. Outdoor seating is a plus. Would get 5 stars if the kid with the glasses wasn't always blasting showtimes . God literally play ANYTHING else
