I ordered a breakfast sandwich that looked like they threw the the sandwich together the cheese wasn't melted and it was extremely cold with literally one slice of bacon, I called to speak with the manager who was disgustingly rude and said " well the egg is cooked what do you want me to do" with an attitude slammed The phone and hung up on me, I always order food from them and was surprised by the quality of customer service I received. never going Back the manager that was there today ruined my experience whomever was working today on 1/26/24 should be ashamed And the facts that it wasn't busy says a lot

I like going there especially when I am tired from work and I don't feel like cooking they have a good selection of cooked food and other foods and like cakes , pastries and more.

Another #IYKYK ICONIC New Haven go to! Nica's never fails and as many times as I think they've out done themselves they do it AGAIN! Why Nica's will continue to be a forever New Haven gem; Fresh, Friendly, Family Friendly, great service and they cater. Literally with lunch right to your office, family gathering, and more AND literally by ensuring their customers are well taken care of. Thank you Nica's for keeping the busy bodies of New Haven CT stomachs full!

Terrific market on Orange Street. Sandwiches, salads, hot dishes, and pizzas are fantastic. Also great coffee and lots of gourmet items. Additionally, everything is reasonably priced.

The food here is very good. However, they need to organize a little better with what they cook daily. When you don't live in the area you drive in only to be disappointed that they don't have anything you like. Can they just post the food options on Facebood or their website daily? This would be very helpful to those that don't live in the area. You try calling and the phone is busy at lunchtime. You call at 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. and they have no clue what they are serving for the day. Please get a better system going so those that don't live in the area know exactly what is on the menu (hot food items) for the day. Want to give you my business!!! Thank you so much. So I head to Nica's and it was an awful experience. I asked for middle piece of lasagna and the manager Rosario she was rude. The end pieces of the pan were hard and dry. She stated put some sauce on it. What I spent 14 bucks for a large dish last time. Why would I do that again. She gave me a small middle piece. Guess what this will be my LAST time coming to this deli. They certainly don't value the customer nor good customer service. Deli's are a dime a dozen between New Haven and Cheshire. Never again.

There grilled Panini sandwich's for breakfast are amazing. Customize your order. and add your favorite sauce, to your sandwich. Large selection of prepared italian cuisine as well as grocery items. Be prepare for large crowds during peek ours. Their outdoor seating is great, the prices are amazing.

Good cleanliness and variety, although not much in their baked goods section is actually labeled which makes it a bit of a free for all. Everything is typically well stocked, and the cashiers are friendly and patient. Never have had an issue shopping here, albeit a but overpriced.
