Very cute little bookstore. Books are free - just donate something. It is not closed contrary to what Yelp says.

This is a gem of a place. The nicest staff you’ll ever meet, and best of all - books are all free! Make sure you donate to the cause, because they are soon running out of cash and may not be able to stay open long without your support

I have NEVER found this store open. i moved to this area 8 months ago. Every time I walk down State, I am hoping maybe this time. Never. No signs of life there.

This is a bookstore unlike any other, if you don't have a whole lot of money and are looking for a good read this is the store for you. All books are sold for whatever donation you wish to give the store. The only caveat is that you do not bring back the books, you are encouraged to pass them along to a friend when you are finished with them. This venue also offers a small community space with a stage. This allows them to hold open poetry and Open Mic nights all throughout the year. If you're a book lover this place should definitely be on your list of treasured stores.

Open mic Saturdays. Music improv last Monday of the month. Great intimate book store. Uncanny and communal space. Kind creative people.

Great venue for performance and great browsing! Is is part of a growing handful of performance venues for anyone and everyone. Most of them are probably in Westville in West Haven, but this is the one for this neighborhood!

A very cool place! The great vibe and the intimate setting is great for music. One big problem though, parking is very very limited on the street.

Best place in town! There's no place like Never Ending Books. That's probably a good thing. It's a truly unique gem.

Book lovers will love Never Ending Books. A hidden gem in New Haven, it is a generous artsy and creative community space. In this indie setup, you'll find interesting people and performances ranging from poetry to music to storytelling. Bring a book, take a book - put a donation in the box and keep this great place going!
