Lady's I went to mid k bought a lace front on sale guess what that gave me a receipt that had the sale amount.few hours later I get a alert a purchase was made for 59.99 when the receipt said 32.99 mid k are robbing us the treat everybody likes a thief and there the ones stilling people money will be there Sunday morning getting my refund.stop shopping there.

My first experience with MidK was this week and it will be my last. Google says they close at 7 but apparently doors close at 6:50. I got there at exactly that time and knew exactly what I needed for an in-and-out trip. They refused to let me in. I traveled a bit far to get here but that didn't matter. The lady at the door had a STINK attitude and kept drawing a line at her throat at me. Y'all will NEVER catch me shopping here. Fix the times on google to 6:50p and you won't have this problem. But also, be considerate and kind in your response to that fact especially when people aren't from here or aware of the discrepancy.

If I could give zero stars I would. The owner decides for his return policy that you can exchange tracks,crochet hair,braiding hair..all these items that go in your hair with the exception of ponytails. I just wanted to exchange the ponytail I bought last night for a shorter length. It makes no sense every hair product could be exchanged but a ponytail in its original unopened package. I will not patronize them anymore and will tell everyone I know,including hair professionals about this non sense. STAY AWAY..it's too bad because the ladies who help you find what you're looking for are great. It's the cashier and owner who need to appreciate their customers

Absolute worse service ever if you are a person with brown or black skin. As soon as I walked in with my daughter I got yelled at to “stay” as if I were a dog. No one greeted us or told us how to proceed, and had it not been nearing closing time for all hair supply stores, I would’ve left. They have grown men standing around eye balling everyone but no one speaks or assists. The one woman I noticed was helping a customer but walked by me several times and didn’t ask me if I needed any help— the cashiers stood on their platforms watching people but not checking customers out. One yelled at a family with children who were gently looking at nail polish colors (the dad and mom had toCheck them and let them know people like us are their top consumers and we should be spoken to with some respect)—Overall experience was less than one star. Would not recommend — will not be back. Do better or stop trying to gain financial wealth off the backs of the same people you treat so poorly.

This beauty supply business is heaven! The staff were friendly & knowledgeable. If they weren't certain of an item they Googled it. No missing the mark‼️The building space is expansive & uncluttered.There's an amazing selection of wig & extension hair styles. The aisles of weaving & braiding hair is insane. And the broad spectrum of colors for all the quality hair products is giving life.Ladies & Gentlemen this is where you need to go first for all your beauty supply needs.

To all BLACK shoppers- DONT shop here. YOUR business is not appreciated or valued. From the moment You walk through the door- NO ONE greets you! “they” stand around watching you shop like prison guards. The co-owner ringing you out has a disgusting attitude toward customers. and if You ask a question about a product, they answer you in a condescending tone as if you should already know the answer! I kindly put the supplies back and walked out. No purchase made! They ought to reconsider what community of ppl they pander to.

I have always received good customer service. Their website says they close at 7 pm. But actually they close at 6:50 PM. They don’t honor their times and customer service has gone down the tube. I understand everyone has a life outside of work but when you run a business, it’s a business. I no longer live in the area but any other service business I have gone to, they understand that that their customers are the backbone of their business. But I guess for the owners of Mid-K, customers don’t matter. They were rude in telling me they close at 6:50pm although their website says 7pm. Change your website so people don’t waste their time coming to your facility and have to face of the brutish manner that they are told that “it’s 6:50, we are closed”. I can choose where to spend my money. I now have to reconsider if Mid-K is the place to spend my money for their no-customer service.

I have been going to this store since I can remember. They always have everything you need . The have recently relocated to a bigger store on the same street but in Hamden with more parking They sell a huge variety of ethnic products and a lot of local vendors products as well. The owners are not as rude as they were in the past. The workers have always been nice, very helpful and friendly. They do need to rethink they're return policies.
