It's amazing how one employee could ruin my experience. And the sad part is that I work in retail and I am very sympathetic however this guy snapped at me because of the customers ahead of me not using a divider I just mentioned to him that they are all the way up by him so no one can reach. He was just rude with his reply. But I guess everyone is entitled to a bad day.

As a loyal Ikea shopper for 20+ years, our recent experience with Ikea New Haven dealing with a return has been a nightmare! We had to prepaid for them to collect the boxes which took one week to schedule, even though the boxes were received by the New Haven store and checked in within 3 days they have failed to issue me the refund, many attempts through various channels started with many useless online chats, many phone calls and ended up dealing with the customer service at the store and now being told that we need to wait for another department to issue the refund!!?? the refund has not been issued so far and it’s now passed 3 weeks since the return was picked up, we are extremely frustrated with this part of their service and will now think twice before shopping with them again!

This IKEA is no different from others. Not overall the stores are wonderful - very simple, elegant designs you can live with for a long time, at remarkably cheap prices.

Great selection of furniture and kitchen items wheelchairs on premises elevator to go up and down they also have a dining area in case you're hungry they have everything you need for your home ??

This is a cool store. I got a bathroom vanity that I'm going to transform into a rolling kitchen island. It's perfect and it was in the clearance room. The only thing is the directions for there items are not in English.

I scheduled a pickup for two items between 12p-1p four days early. The drive is more than two hours for me, so I planned my day around it. When I arrived (at 1pm), they told me that the items still weren't ready, and would take another 20 minutes or so. They weren't ready until 3pm, and they ended up selling out of one of the items (which I had ordered four days earlier).
This happens and they are just material things. But I would recommend that if a customer pays for something days earlier, they pack the order as they receive it, rather than day-of when they run out of stock. The customer service representative at the store was very calm though, which helped.

Updating my rating to 1 star (or 0 star if it's possible). If 80% of products in a category are "temporarily not available", you'd better shut your door. It's spam if you tell customers the store is open but the majority of cabinets cannot be purchased. I understand supply shortage during COVID, but it's already 2024 and this is not acceptable.
