We really had a nice experience with Brandon and his team. They started to communicate with us just after we booked. The team showed up on time, which is very important. Each of them worked well with good team work. Thanks to their effort, we could finish our moving project faster than we thought. We'll have another moving project next year at New Haven. However, they are the only my option next time. We hope to have this kind of company in our state too.

Miguel was so wonderful during our move. I was admittedly not at my best after a long move, but he and his partner were patient and kind. Miguel even helped jump start my mother's car, which was so above and beyond what he needed to do. They also stayed until the job was done and didn't complain, even though it was far past the time that they were supposed to be there. Would 100% recommend and if I move again, they will be my first call!

first class movers is excellent - i don't even know where to begin. from scheduling to moving day, brandon and his crew made the process incredibly easy. he was always communicative, quick to reply, and clear. any time i needed an insurance form or documentation to be completed, he got on it right away. the price was completely appropriate.
we have had some pretty terrible moving experiences in the past, and first class movers surpassed all our expectations. the moving crew (jay, miguel, and wes) were so kind and patient, moved all our items carefully from new haven to brooklyn, and adapted to all the changes that came along the way.
we highly recommend this moving company and would give 6 stars if we could.

Moving can be very difficult and stressful. Most times, when you are moving you have a specific timeframe you need the move completed by. If you are looking for a reliable company to help you in this situation, do not use First Class Movers. I hired them over a month in advance. They were scheduled to arrive between 9am and 930am. At 9:34am I contacted the employee who I had been communicating with. Instead of calling me with an update, he made me wait until the movers decided to call me and explain to me they would be over an hour late. I finally got the owner to call me and he said he would send me an email to get a full refund since my move would be done by the time his team arrived. That was two days ago. I messaged him again today and didn’t get a response. Not only is this company unreliable but it seems they are also crooks.
Update: a response to my review
The response to my review shows how unorganized and unprofessional this company is. Instead of apologizing, they become extremely defensive. I messaged on Thursday (2 days before the move) and changed the time from 8am to 9am not the morning of as his response indicates.
Next, he said the movers showed up. False. I did not see anyone from first class movers at my house. There was definitely not a file cabinet either. Hopefully the next response is more solution driven or I’ll contact an attorney to get the money back instead of just letting it go.

They did an amazing job! We lived in the Brewster area in New York and were moving to Tennessee. They always arrive on time. You can tell they a very hard working and they work quickly! They moved very heavy mechanical stuff and some furniture with a breeze. They moved our things to Tennessee with a very short notice with very reasonable prices. I wish they were located in Tennessee, we would definitely use them again!

Showed up with 2 people to move a 500+ pound grand piano, we had to help move the piano ourselves because they didn’t bring enough people.
Edit: seems like the owner responded, this claim is completely absurd, there were 10 steps that were not that steep, we had to call in 4 other people (!) to help the two guys move the piano, they charged us 300 dollars for a few extra steps and we had to compensate one of our own contractors because of a small injury they suffered moving the piano up. I seriously doubt the ability of two guys to move a grand piano up a single flight of stairs, I don't know where you guys are getting your 21 steps figure from. The only reason that I'm doing this 7 weeks later is because you blocked me after I tried asking you despite repeated attempts to contact you. Also at no point did they mention they can call more guys in. When we were done moving the piano, there were damages to the piano that I was told to discuss with you guys; I paid in full and asked for only a partial refund like a normal person but apparently stonewalling customers is a normal practice nowadays. I have filed a complaint with the department of consumer protection, this is not how you do business.

First Class Movers were great, they were prompt, clean and quick in both packing-up my furniture and moving it to my home. The men were courteous and did several small changes for me without question. They asked were everything needed to go, and it all was placed exactly as I asked. I could not be happier. I highly recommend them for your move. Great job First Class Movers.

My experience was FIRST CLASS.....they were on time, fast and safe with my belongings. Even help set the heavier furniture where I liked it.Great prices and even better quality of work. Will be using again when needed.

Was referred by a friend to be in contact with first class. Was not disappointed they took care of all my stuff like it was their own they moved my couch without scratching any walls they took the extra care to move my tv with 2 people to make sure it didn’t drop and same with my dressers it was the fastest easiest and most efficient was to move and with their prices it’s hard to beat them will definitely recommend to a friend and will definitely use them again if I decided to move from my apartment again in a year or 2.

They were wonderful! We had to reschedule so many times because of closing date delays and they were so understanding each time. The crew that moved our things were so respectful of our belongings and our home. They were also extremely efficient. Could not be happier with choosing this company for our move!
