I do not usually give reviews but this time I will after how disrespected I was. I asked to be called ahead of time when they were on their way to pick up a car. No one called me so I called them twice around noon No answer someone showed up calling from a Massachusetts number later on in the day around 2 when I was no longer home I reached out again around 4 to see if we can reschedule for the next day They said they would call me the next day first thing in the morning again no phone calls so I called them. The person that answered the phone possibly the owner said the word NO I asked why he said you don’t answer your phone we ain’t coming back again .. and SLAMMED the phone down .. that’s a lie I was trying to reach them more than once. If you don’t like being treated this way I wouldn’t use them I’m very disappointed some people are so mean and cruel for no good reason and customer service has went down the drain in a lot of places I treat people very well respectfully, I don’t seem to get it back much

I called Elm City Auto Wrecking On April 27th 2023 spoke with Brian to get a quote on selling our Vw Passat and on top of him being polite and professional he came back with a Very reasonable cash offer that I agreed to and had a immediate service to pick up the car and the driver came with in an hour to flat bed it away.I would highly recommend Elm City to anyone that wants a reasonable offer and not a ridiculous low ball offer just be sure you Catalytic Converter is intact on your vehicle and you should be good to go.

They’re very fast & efficient. I had a slight issue on my end, but they worked with me to figure out a solution that worked for everyone. They also offered a fair price for the vehicle. I appreciate their workmanship and patience. They’re also very kind!

I've had nothing but great experiences with these folks. The first time I went to Elm City Auto Wrecking, I was looking for an affordable head unit for my old Pontiac Grand Am. They had a ton to choose from, and I ended up picking a Pioneer that resembled my old head unit. The CD player outlived my Grand Am and I pulled it out before calling...GUESS WHO?...to come junk my old Pontiac. After my Pontiac died, I drove around my mom's old yellow Chevy Astro van until that died. I bought a VW Passat and called...GUESS WHO?...to junk the Astro van. Drove my VW Passat for 4.5 years and when it was time to trade it in for a new car, I couldn't find the title. Since the Passat had a million and a half things wrong with it, I called...REALLY, YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHO!...to come junk it. They asked me if I wanted to know how much $$$ they'd give me for the Passat, but I said, "Nope, IDGAF, just come lug it away!" I'd already gotten a quote from another company for $250 but since Elm City is a mile from my house, I had them do it instead. When they came to haul my Passat away, I was expecting $200 or so but they gave me $300 instead. I'll take it! Someday I may actually be able to trade a car in when buying a new one, but until then, I've got Elm City Auto Wrecking!

Yesterday, I totaled my car. It’s the first time I’ve been in an accident where my car couldn’t be fixed, and I was at a loss as to how I should deal with it.After getting some guidance, I called this junk yard and spoke with Mark. He was pleasant, courteous, and explained exactly what I’d need to do in order to junk my car.We settled on a time for someone to come pick my car, and they were right on time ? The gentleman who came to pick up my car was professional and also explained what the next steps would be after my car was taken.As for a side surprise, I was offered $300 for junking my car with them. Blew my mind that was even a thing! ?I rarely write reviews, so I need to of had a really good experience somewhere in order to comment on it publicity. I can’t speak for other junk yards because I don’t have any previous experience, but I can definitely say that Elm City treated me very well.
