My experience at the business is awful. The job wasn’t done but I was billed for it anyway and they insisted I had to pay despite their employee giving me false information on their ability to fix the problem. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service, I tried pointing out the error with the Manager who hung up on me. I tried calling them back several times but they intentionally ignored the calls. So unprofessional and their service is horrible!

Lianne and her crew are simply the best! We always appreciate the quick turn around times, consistent communication that is clear and understandable to us non-car people, & their willingness to work with us as we juggled our warranty as well. We will continue coming here for routine care and would recommend them to anyone in the area. Thanks for all of your help!! The gift bags are a cherry on top. It’s really the little things that make an already great experience…an awesome one! Keep it up East Rock Auto??

I have been here a few times. I called them in advance and dropped off my car in the morning. At noon, they were able to help me inspect the car and identify the problem (brakes issues, flat tire). The quote and everything were very clear and straightforward. They also called to explain the issues with the car and let me know the priority issues that needed to be fixed right away and other things that I could follow up sometime later. I was able to approve (or reject) the specific jobs for the car. The job was done within 2 days (they informed me in advance that it was a busy day) and I’m really happy with the service I received.

Incredible customer service, attention to detail, communication, and repair work. They performed a service my old mechanic wasn't able to, walked me through the steps to pass Connecticut emissions, and provided exemplary service every step of the way. Local business feel, hyper professional work quality. I will come to them for all my automotive needs moving forward.

After frustrating calls to two Mazda dealerships to find how much it would cost to fix AC in my car, I called East Rock Auto, which is a 20 min walk away. Within minutes, I had a professional explanation of what could be wrong and a quote that "covers 9 out of 10 cases". Two hours later my car was fixed with no extra charges, and I also received a nice gift bag with a handwritten note. Now I know where I should service my car.

I've been coming to East Rock Auto for years. They are courteous, efficient and get the job done right and in a timely manner. The staff is super friendly and they take the time to explain things thoroughly. I highly recommend coming here for all your auto needs. Consider looking elsewhere for service. I had a hard time with the older lady working the service desk. She quoted me almost $500 for replacing a single sensor, charging me several times more than the part is worth. She was rude and difficult to talk to, refusing to tell me where the part was coming from or why it cost so much. She also tried to charge my girlfriend for a variety of unneeded services, like $500 to replace 6 month old spark plugs! They wanted to do several thousand dollars of work, instead I got it done less than 3 hours later for $200. Mechanics diagnosed the problem quickly and I would have loved to give them my business but I don't feel like I can trust the kind of people who try to up-charge young ladies.

First off great, efficient customer service with great results. But also, when I picked up my car, they gave me a gift bag! With a handwritten card, candle, hand cream, and leprechaun chocolate!! Also, they were just really nice. I don’t want to take my business anywhere else!
