Poor the store is a reck, no bags. I went spent over a hour getting things just to be told there was no bags, empty boxes, can't take the carts out of the store. I took it off the self and they can put it back.

I just went to the store, located inside the plaza on Rte. 80 where Aldis is, and the line was very long reaching
the vertical isles. I noticed that only one cash register was open, I asked a lighted skin female, politely, if she can open another one.
She gave me an attitude and started moving her hands and head in an agressive attitude and loud voice, and said, "No I cannot open another register, I am not blind I see the line is very long, don't you have Common sense" I told her she did not have to be disrespectful or agressive in frontnof all the customers. I do not used common sense at this store because many times the line is long and when I asked, a male to maybe open another cash register he has apologized not realizing the line is that long and he opens another cashregister without throwing insults. This lady has a nasty attitude, she should get fired. She most be incharged of the store cause I saw her assisting and employee cash register with a key. She lacks customer services skills. I left the cart packed with everything that I was going to buy, that store does not deserve my money.

Dear Dollar Tree Management,
I am writing to formally express my deep concern and disappointment regarding an incident that occurred at your Foxon Boulevard store in New Haven, Connecticut, on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at approximately 1:44 PM.
Upon entering the store, I was carrying a bag of cheese that I had purchased from another store within the same plaza. While shopping, I was approached by one of your employees, identified as Linda, who publicly stated, “When you’re done with that let me know, so we can go to the front and pay for it.” This statement was made while I was eating the cheese, and it was loud enough to draw attention from other customers, causing me significant embarrassment as they began to look at me as though I had shoplifted or consumed unpaid merchandise from Dollar Tree.
In an effort to clarify the situation, I approached Linda and showed her the packaging to confirm that the item did not come from Dollar Tree. Although she acknowledged that the food item was not from your store, she exhibited an attitude in response to my correction. Feeling humiliated, I requested to speak with a manager.
After waiting for approximately five minutes, a gentleman who identified himself as the operations manager approached me. I explained my concerns regarding the false accusation and the embarrassment I felt due to what I believe was a "Non-Productive Detainment"—a loss prevention term used when someone is wrongly stopped without having committed any theft. While I was discussing this with the manager, Linda approached again and stated, “There’s not a lot of people in the area, it was just YOU PEOPLE.”
This racially insensitive comment, given that I am a Black male and Linda is a White woman, immediately made me feel deeply uncomfortable and alarmed. It became apparent to me at that moment that I was being racially profiled. The manager promptly told Linda to step away, but the damage had already been done.
I requested to file a complaint in-store, but the manager informed me that I would need to do so online. However, I feel this situation demands immediate attention, and I would prefer to resolve this issue directly with your store before considering further actions, including consulting with my attorney.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable and cannot go unaddressed. I am formally requesting that this matter be investigated and that appropriate actions be taken to ensure that no other customer experiences this type of profiling and disrespect in your store.

Used to be awesome a couple of years ago,but now not so good here. ?Messy shelves & aisles, old spills on floors & shelves,& rude staff (a couple of them are ok).They have better stores with nicer staffin Branford, Universal Drive North Haven, & Hamden...but this one's a no for me.

They were rushing me out closed 15 min earlier then when they are supposed to close at 10. Asked question to the guy and he was very short when giving a reponse it was basically no! And he’s stocking shelves in the isle I was in and I was there first when he cameIn the isle and was like excuse me with an Attitude with his eyes rolling. Like don’t bother me… get the hell out of the way just wanting ne to not be there and place was a mess they out of everything and so unorganized was just stressful and I am usually not one to complain but this place is horrible

There is a situation here and it is that they have only 1 box for the holy line and that is resolved by self check out.
