My sister and I had gel manicures and the keratin hand treatments. Kimmy and Lucy were our technicians and they really rocked it! Both our manicures turned out beautifully, but it was the hand treatments with a massage that really set them apart from salon I used to go to. I'll be going back for sure!Services: Nail painting

This was, by far, the worst manicure I have ever had.The nail tech used the drill on my bare nail, attempted to cut my cuticles without any kind of cuticle oil, and returned the clippers to the drawer without sanitizing them. The table was gritty before he even started working, everything just felt dirty. I know I tend to have “stiff” fingers, but the nail tech visibly rolled his eyes each time he had to direct my fingers. He provided me with what I can only describe as a small cardboard box covered in dirty black tape as a bolster, despite the fact that there was a regular bolster right next to him. By the time he finished the manicure, I looked down to see that every single nail had bubbles. He clearly noticed too because he took the drill and unsuccessfully attempted to smooth the nails out. They look like absolute garbage and I’m sure will crack over the next couple days.Worst of all, the last thing the nail tech does is take out the file and proceed to file my very regular length nails down TO THE QUICK and rounded. I only noticed how short he was filing them when I felt pain because he was literally filing my skin under my nail bed. When I say I was horrified when I saw my right hand… they look like tiny tombstones. I can’t believe I didn’t bleed. I said, “Oh, these are very short and very rounded… please don’t make the nails on my left hand so short.” He said, “You asked for rounded.” I said, “No, I asked for almond and to keep my natural length.” He immediately appears to be not only irritated but furious. He stands up and whips his gloves off, gives me a filthy look, and just walks away. I’m left sitting with my nails ruined and 70% finished. I literally had to ask “Excuse me, is anyone going to finish my nails”???? What in the world?! The manager ended up finishing my nails. She asked me what I had asked for, and again I repeated almond. She has the audacity to respond, “Your nails are too short for almond. Next time you need to get tips like mine.” Like??? They weren’t too short until your nail tech ruined them?! At this point I was fighting back tears, so uncomfortable and counting the seconds until I could leave.I cannot believe that this is a real business. I highly doubt that the “nail tech” is licensed. Between that and health department codes this place should be permanently closed.

If a customer ask that you correct something on their nails you do not have to be rude about it. I'm sure you get your share of rude customers but not all are going to be rude. If the service is not to the customers liking you need to correct the issue. When you file off my gel fill where I can see my nails that's not a fill it needs to be corrected and you should be providing quality for your prices. Then you get rude when I ask you about a color. If you're going to let your emotions control you, let someone else finish or don't start in the first place. The pedicure was okay but at this point I was done with the establishment. With all that I still left a generous tip I hope your establishment works on the attitudes. Energy transfers.

I've been to Chocolate Spa many times over the years. I recently went for a spa pedicure (ended up costing about $90) and the pedicure was OK. I was attended to by a woman named Lori. I asked for her to cut the toe nails short the moment I sat down. I later had to ask her to please cut them shorter and she literally huffed and puffed about it. With a spa pedicure comes a 20 minute massage as well. I literally watched her barely massage anything. I wasn't going to write a negative review until my 79 year old neighbor told me she went in for a simple manicure (no acrylic or gel) and they asked if she had an appointment. When she said she didn't, they told her they couldn't help her although the shop was empty. I will NOT give this place my business EVER again. Gone are the days of being impressed with this establishment.

They did a sloppy job. I left with dried glue all over my fingers and under my finger nails. They charge me $132 for pedicure and full set $20 for gel nail for my feet and nails each. They charge too much, they charge tax and still “ literally expect a tip too “ JUST PURE GREED.. I will never return nor would I recommendServices: Pedicure

This business has gone downhill since Lisa, Stacey and a lot of others have left. The new front end woman is so rude and unprofessional. The quality of work has dropped drastically and they drop the ball with scheduling appointments. I have been going hee for about a decade and will no longer patronize this business. It's so sad because anyone that knows me knows how highly I used to speak of this establishment. When I asked for info on the owner she refused and asked ke to leave smh

I have always had a great experience with my pedicure and gel manicures here. Very pleasant. Love the owner she is such a sweet heart. Great, relaxing environment. Bring a eye mask while getting your pedicure, thank me later!I did notice that if you get a basic pedicure it is definitely rushed so you mi ght as well just ask for a polish change rather then a basic pedicure, same service, you get what you pay for....LOLServices: Pedicures
