This store is in a superb location. It is easily accessible and very convenient. The shelves are only semi stocked and the employees are friendly, but not very knowledgeable. There is plenty of parking available.With the right management, this store could come back to its former glory. Considering its proximity to downtown New Haven, it is a gem waiting to be rejuvenated with the proper, prompt attention.

3 stars because they usually have what I need but the shelves are never stocked. The lines be super long at certain times. Feels like they're understaffed most of the time. I like the late night staff, they're all pretty cool. But there's 1 woman who works there who's body positive, lots of tattoos and is just miserable. She seems angry whenever she has to work, she doesn't say hello, she's rude, I'm pretty sure she hates her job. The rest of the staff seems cool for the most part

Extremely disappointing and greatly problematic for a store to advertise 24hr availability, especially when needing OTC medicine and making a middle of the night effort to help out family members who are feeling unwell, only to find out via a makeshift paper sign that they are closed until morning.....

Cashiers are SO slow. Also bad environment overall. Half of the times I go I see people stealing merchandise and running out the door.

I've visited this location for the past two years. Staff usually cannot be bothered to help. I recently tried calling to see if they have a particular item in stock. The staff member picked up the phone and immediately hung it up without answering. I tried calling back and the same thing happened. Seems like they'd rather not answer calls and help customers, and just pick up the phone so that it starts ringing. What a shame.

I had a disappointing experience shopping at a Walgreens store. They do not have public restrooms available, which made it difficult for my daughter and me during our visit. We were there to purchase some hair accessories, but my daughter needed to use the restroom. When I asked the staff for access to the restroom, they denied my request. As a result, we did not buy anything and left the store. It's unfortunate that larger businesses like Walgreens do not offer public restrooms, and because of this, I would not recommend shopping there.

I'm from Middletown, CT, so with that being said I was shocked to see the amount of items that had security devices on them in addition to the items locked inside their cabinets. Apparently there's a theft issue in this area. Fast forward I did get ask for assistance from an associate in the health and beauty section. She was polite and helpful. I go to the register with a legit gift card for Walgreens, in which the cashier tells me that there is nothing on the card and I would need to add funds. To me this was quite strange considering I just checked the balance prior to entering the store. In my opinion, I think the cashier was trying to scam me for my card or wanting me to addd funds so she can pocket the cash. Considering the amount of people in line I just paid cash and kept the gift card and exited the store, I recommend the cashiers be watched more than the actual shoppers. I would probably give them another chance and will hope my next experience turns out more positive. Oh and by the way I wanted to do the survey and realized the scamming cashier never gave me my receipt. Unbelievable!

If there was another pharmacy in my area close to where I live, I would go there...the pharmacy techs or whoever answers the phone has a nasty attitude. I am not comprehending why or what's wrong with their staff, but I would not get my prescription filled at this location if I had another choice. The sad thing about me leaving this review is it will not get seen, and nothing will be done about the poor quality of service...the pharmacy tech probably will continue working without being reprimanded for his poor quality of customer no-service. It's a shame indeed!

The wait times at this pharmacy are ridiculous. Walgreens needs to hire more people. Never been there when there wasn't a 10 person line waiting - 1 hour to fill a prescription. I suppose at some point reviews don't matter (this pharmacy only has negative reviews) but the Walgreens corp. should care about its brand and what a branch like this does to it.

Disaster. You'd be lucky if it was only messy. The shelves are half empty and surly employees stuck shelves smack in the middle of the day. The Pharmacy has one employee, and generally a line of 15-20 people, no joke. Same line whether you have a question, need a vaccine, or are dropping off a prescription. You'd think there would be a separate line to pickup a prescription, right? Nope, same line! I saw a dozen people wait an hour, only to walk away with nothing. Manager didn't apologize. Must be business as usual there.

The pharmacy is beyond slow and not communicative. I had a prescription denied by my insurance and they never notified me. When I called and double checked that they had the right fax number for my doctor, they claimed they faxed them for authorization but the doctor never got it. When I called back again a different employee told me they couldn't fill the prescription because it was a specialty med and they can't fill those. Again, no notification, I had to call. Now I just had surgery and my partner waited for two hours after my surgery (when the meds had already been requested two hours prior to that.) Don't go here if you need anything within a reasonable timeframe, and don't go here if you expect any customer service. Do better Walgreens!

Not only does no one answer the phones there, But after hours of calling & getting hung up on for two days, multiple times, The girl who finally answered was very snippy & very snotty! I was asking a question about a refill that the Walgreens App said was ready for me 2 pick up, And this female was sounding very agitated, short fused & like I should have already knew the answer!! I will not be going to this Walgreens Again! Very poor customer service. I suggest this female to not work with the public.This was on June 30, 2022 around approximately 10:40am.

The pharmacist was a total j*** to me! I had a question on my prescription and he was so rude and told me he's been a pharmacist for 30 years blah blah and that the medicine my doctor and I wanted doesn't exist. Not a nice person at all!! I was hung up on and put on hold before I even got ahold of him too. Worst place to go for meds!! Shame on him for treating patients like they are stupid!

I have this very simple way to see a functioning Pharmacy. Fill a prescription or Don't. This place is a Don't fill prescription. The close early and have your order ready when you show up.

Pharmacy is overworked, takes long time to answer phone, does not want to do the work to provide service over the phone. When I have gone in to pick up a prescription, they dont have it. So calling beforehand is essential. Bad service all around.
