I recieved a recall on my 2019 Santa Fe. It rook 6 months to get an appointment. I was never asked nor told that fix would render my remote starter useless. I have left numerous messages for service manager and general manager and gotten no response

Would give 0 stars if I could. It would almost be impossible to create such bad service communication on purpose – this dealership is absolutely, unequivocally not interested in helping you; fix the problems with the cars they sell you; or communicating in anyway other than the bare minimum IF that on most days. The phones do not get answered 4 out of 5 times, when they do every single person’s prerogative is to get off the phone as quickly as possible, which means no matter why you call, you get transferred to answering machines or people who ‘take your details and we’ll call you back’. No one has ever called back. Not once. I have made, with zero exaggeration, over 20 calls in the last 2 weeks to this dealership with absolutely no progress and no call backs.I purchased my car 2 years ago – the dealer KNEW about the software issue when selling me the car because Hyundai had already released the resolution - and I am STILL trying to resolve the same issue. Every single person I have spoken to over the myriad of times I have called and been physically in the dealership tells me something different and it is all lip service to get you to leave. Either no one knows what is happening or everyone is lying and then not calling back in hopes I stop contacting them about the faulty car they sold me.This has been, and continues to be, the most insanely unprofessional and seemingly illegal version of a car dealership I have ever encountered. How they are allowed to sell a faulty car and then not repair it for, going on 2 years, is beyond me. Look at the last 3 months of reviews, either 1 star with all the same comments or 5 stars with no details because they are submitting positive reviews to bury the bad ones.If the owner is reading this, I invite you to reach out to me to resolve this issue before it becomes a BBB and legal issue. You sold me a faulty car and refuse to fix it.

I recently bought a car with James Doheny. He was very helpful and mind full to stay within my budget. . Everyone I worked with was very nice. Truly a stress free experience. I look forward to my future dealings with Brandfon Hyundai.

The staff in the service department are nice, however I'm very disappointed in the time it took to even begin to look at my vehicle. I made an appointment for 9AM and dropped my car off approximately 20 minutes early. I call back around 12:45PM for an update and my vehicle had not even been looked at yet. What is the point of an appointment?

Have a 2019 Hyundai accent I bough brand new. My car started consuming an excessive amount of oil. Brought it in and they told me that I would have to have 3 oil changes at 1000 mile mark to see how much oil is actually being consumed. My car was 3 quarts low and the service advisor was submitting for approval to perform combustion cleaning and said they would contact me. That was July 10, 2023 and I haven’t heard from anybody, so I called and all I got was, well, Rafael Brodie(the service advisor that took care of me for the three oil changes) is no longer with us. I said well that is great but why hasn’t somebody still gotten back to me? So Rafael gets fired and they don’t look at any of the customers accounts that he had taken care of? Sounds like other people besides Rafael aren’t doing their jobs either. I called three weeks ago about this matter and somebody was supposed to get back to me and still nothing so I called again to say spoke with Christina and she said she would have somebody call me. Well she called back within ten minutes to tell me that her manager said the approval for the combustion cleaning was denied and that I would have to come in again and repeat the process if I wanted it resubmitted!!! That means I have to come in for three oil changes AGAIN ALL AT 1000 miles! This is just absolutely absurd that I have to go through that again because people are not doing their jobs!

Both times I went there to have my 2021 Hyundai Venue worked on from April 14th, 2023 to August 18th, 2023, there was always an issue with customer service communication or service related issues. The first time was when I just acquired my car and wanted an inspection done on it, a long with having the 2 recalls handled that was open with it. Mind you, the car was formerly a rental car but is still under manufacturers warranty. They did not do an inspection on it as requested in my initial phone call interaction and when I arrived for the service, they had difficulties locating my appointment information. They never did an inspection because of apparent staffing issues, nor did they ever setup a follow-up for such at a later date to be agreed upon.My second appointment was for a 40k miles checkup and change with specific concerns mentioned when I setup the appointment weeks in advanced in regards to my windshield. They never communicated to me or discussed this issue with me. I also had been kept waiting for almost 3 and a half hours for an oil change and tire rotation because of an apparent mixup. The rep at the counter whom handled my appointment, said it would take no longer than an hour or so. Also, I had brought up a concern about the center touch screen would occasionally not turn on when starting up the car and that it would happen at least once a week.He had stated that they had no one available that could look at this issue and that it would require that the vehicle would need have to stay for roughly the entire day. Since I didn't have the time, he had said that it could be arranged to have it looked at later date; to which I agreed. By the end of the servicing, nothing was mentioned about such a future appointment, nor my concerns addressed.I will not be having my vehicle serviced at this establishment in the future. The impression I get from this location, especially from my first visit, is that they want nothing to do with this vehicle, because it's not one of theirs. Lastly, there's now a vibration in my vehicle coming from one of my tires which was never there before the rotation..

The dealership was not knowledgeable about additional state rebates (CHEAPR + Program) that were available for my car if we waited a few more days to purchase. I could have saved an additional $1500 on purchase price. Also, it has been very hard to get help from the dealership's finance department after the sale has been made. Unfortunately, the new car I purchased was involved in a total loss (other driver at fault) after only 2 months. The finance manager keeps forgetting to process the paperwork in order to get a pro-rated refund on an extended warranty. We leave messages, but they almost never call back. I need to show up in person for anything to get done on my behalf.

My first service was very smooth!Matthew, my service consultant explained the approximate wait time for my vehicle and directed me to a comfortable waiting area. He called me when my vehicle was ready and the best part was that the service was complimentary!

If I could leave a negative star review for this dealership, I would.I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Brandfon Hyundai of New Haven, and I must say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a car dealership. From start to finish, everything about this place left a bitter taste in my mouth. And unfortunately appears to be the "Gold Standard" for this brand.Firstly, the customer service was appalling. The service representatives seemed disinterested and unhelpful from the moment I walked through the door. I had specific issues that I needed addressed regarding the car. My A/C was recharged and needing to be refilled (i.e a leak somewhere), my anti-theft software needed to be updated, and my starter was failing if the car sat for more than a day (mind you the battery is brand new). My experience began with just trying to secure an appointment which clearly isn't an easy feat and now I know why. Interestingly enough the morning of my appointment while waiting in line to drop off my vehicle I was approached by a salesman who wanted to purchase my vehicle and sell me a new one that day. This location is clearly more focused on selling you a vehicle rather than being treated as a paying customer. Moreover, the lack of transparency and lack of communication at Brandfon Hyundai was deeply concerning. I called daily to get a quote and diagnosis for my vehicles issues, but most days my call was rerouted to sales or sent to voicemail and not returned. It became clear that my vehicle was not a priority and basic issues were not being assessed, making me question the integrity of the dealership. A reputable dealership should prioritize honesty and provide customers with all the necessary details to make an informed decision, but sadly, that was not the case here. I received a call later that week that my vehicle needed new brakes with a hefty price tag, but still no diagnosis for the other two concerns.Furthermore, my vehicle sat for two weeks before I called and let the Service department know I was going to come pick up my vehicle. To no surprise when I arrived they still had no answers and insisted that I pay for the "Diagnostic Fee" for $153.63 in order to take the vehicle back into my possession. I was told by my Service Representative that I was getting a "deal" because they did not charge me for the A/C recharge. I was also told to "just bring the vehicle back when the coolant ran out again" or to leave the vehicle there to be further inspected for an unknown amount of time. I would like to add that they could not figure out the issue with my starter and instead continuously jumped my battery and recommended a new battery. It was evident that this dealership did not invest enough time or effort into properly assessing my car or the staff is just incredibly incompetent. This lack of attention to detail further reinforced my growing dissatisfaction with their services. To make matters worse, when I expressed my concerns and frustrations and asked to speak to the Service manager, they were "unavailable" and never returned my call. Instead of addressing the issues I raised, they simply brushed me off and tried to shift the blame onto me as a customer. This level of unprofessionalism was unacceptable and showcased the dealership's disregard for customer satisfaction. In the end, I decided to take my business elsewhere, and I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing and servicing a car at this location to steer clear of Brandfon Hyundai. A professional mechanic was able to find and diagnose the above listed issues in 2 days and at a fraction of the cost! The poor customer service, lack of transparency, and overall unprofessionalism demonstrated by this dealership are not worth your time, money, or sanity. There are plenty of reputable mechanics out there that genuinely care about their customers, strive to provide exceptional service, and are knowledgeable about vehicles. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your car-servici

On 5/22/23, my palisade was sent to brandfon from Lexus (where I purchased it from), to have recalls addressed and some concerns looked in to. Specifically feeling like transmission was slipping, shuttering on acceleration, and knocking noise in the back.Called Hyundai that evening to go over concerns with them.5/24 I call to get an update, Christina states computers are down and she will leave message for a service advisor to call me.I received no call back.5/25 I call and am told computers are still down but Rafa the service advisor would contact me soon.I recieved no call back.5/27 I call twice that day and no one picks up the phone, I leave a message.I received no call back.5/29 call, no one picks up5/30 i get a call back from Rafa who states “recalls all done, you can get your vehicle now”. I ask what happened to my concerns about the shuttering and knocking. Response was “oh umm, we couldn’t find that issue”. I go into detail about exactly the way to see the issue and that I believe the rear knocking was the struts. Rafa states “I’ll have the mechanic do that and we will call you back within 24 hours if we still have a problem finding the issue”.6/1 I call and am told the service center is unavailable at this time and I have to call after the weekend.6/5 called twice with no response, didn’t bother leaving a message as no one calls back6/6 I call and am told I will get a call back from Rafa, I receive no call back.6/7 I call and explain to Christina how completely frustrated I am with their communication. Christina’s response was very apologetic but stated she has no idea why Rafa is not communicating with me as she sees multiple messages she left for him. They are short staffed etc etc6/8 I am called by Christina who tells me they can’t find the issue. They waited over a week to tell me this. I assumed they were doing their job and working on the issue. I could have gone up there to show them the problem and drive with a mechanic way before then.Since then I brought the car to Balise Hyundai in fairfield. Within 24 hours I was told that I clearly needed new back struts and that they definitely felt the shuttering and slipping feeling upon first driving it. My car was fixed within a week. I also received an update 3 times within that week from the service advisor. Avoid brandfon for repairs at all costs!

RUN AWAY FROM BRANDFON! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Rude and despicable employees in both sales and service. They lie through their teeth like their life depends on it. They will NEVER answer their phones. They will ignore requests. You will get your car in terrible condition and they'll expect full payment. This place should be shut down for gross negligence. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!

Rafael Once, the sales associate representative, is honestly the best person to ever do business with. He has always been attentive, ready to offer assistance, answer any questions you have, straightforward with your time and money, and makes the entire process smooth when it comes to leasing a vehicle. The process does indeed take some hours however Rafael makes you feel beyond comfortable. He has never tried to rush me in making a decision nor did he ever try to force my hand. He gives you your space to think before making a decision. My entire family asks for him (that’s how good he is). I highly recommend him when it comes to getting a new vehicle. In addition, Johnny, who does the maintenance portion, is also amazing (my entire family uses him as well). He makes you laugh and truly makes the time to connect with the customers because he remembers things that you have told him while in conversation from the past. Johnny is my go to person! I can go on forever about this particular dealership and the awesome workers. I 100000% recommend this dealership. I take the drive just to come here because of the quality, cleanliness, and overall service. It’s hard nowadays to come across good people and this location has it! Please stop going to other dealerships and come here! Based on my experience, I have no regrets.

Watched my wife go through the process of buying a car and was very impressed with the professionalism, care, and attention to what she was looking for. Mo, Chris, Rafael, and the entire team worked with us to get everything settled and we appreciated the constant communication. At the end of the transaction, we felt like we got a great deal and are leaving as happy customers. Big shout out to Moise!

I had an excellent experience buying a new car from them. Lexi was a great salesperson and very knowledgeable about the different vehicles and options. An issue with the title of my trade-in delayed completion of the deal by two weeks, and the dealership bent over backwards to wait for the issue to be resolved. Overall, it was a pressure-free and painless experience. Lexi was great, and I would go back to dealership again for sure.
