Such a good experience! I love ashleys its my favorite ice cream shop ever. And their black raspberry ice cream is unbelievable my favorite flavor ever. And I hate raspberries. They staff is decent they could be nicer is my only feedback. Sometimes they look like they hate their job. This location doesn't have outdoor seating just in case the one in branford does though! If it was summer and not February, Ashley's Ice Cream typically has a long line of patrons waiting to get their tasty treat. I walked inside to find three employees ready to serve, and no one else waiting. They offered samples. I tried Nutella Chip, and immediately knew that's what I'd be getting. My friend and I shared a cup of Banana and Nutella Chip. This was for sure a very generous portion. Both of the flavors were creamy, flavorful and so true to their names. The Nutella Chip had that authentic spoonful of Nutella taste, with tiny chocolate chips throughout. The banana was the sweet but mild banana flavor. The walls were adorned with pictures of pups and humans enjoying Ashley's Ice Cream! Needless to say we could be added to their wall of love! The ice cream was delicious, creamy and plenty of it for us both to enjoy!

I have been coming to this place for years and I don't think I'll ever be able to stop. One of my favorite ice cream places and I've been to MANY! I love trying new flavors each time but man I will get their whipped cream every time!! Love this place with my whole heart.

This ice cream is actually delectable. Their bittersweet chocolate is my absolute favorite and their whipped cream....don't get me started on the whipped cream. I think it's the best whipped cream I have ever had in my life....(I'm serious). 10/10 would recommend. 4.6/5 stars for me!

Consistently delicious homemade ice cream. I'd specifically recommend getting the sweet cream ice cream with peanut butter sauce (they use the best, Oringer's) and Reese's peanut butter cups. It's a perfect sweet and salty combo. Looking forward to trying their Downside Watson sundae in the future, a huge seven scoop sundae with nine toppings served in a frisbee.

Good ice cream and they welcome dogs. My pup Mario drags me there every chance he gets because he loves the pup cups! The staff are super friendly too!

The dairy free options are great, I really appreciate dairy free ice cream that isn’t just some fruit sorbet that feels like a slushy. They use coconut milk as a base and it’s creamy and tasty.Quality options for the sundae as well, with different kinds of nuts.

Best coffee ice cream I'd ever had! So creamy and rich and not too sweet. Nice dark roast coffee flavor too. I thought the price for the serving size was very reasonable. I will definitely be going back for more.

Amazing ice cream, amazing service. The staff there are super friendly. The portion sizes are crazy big—my friend and I could’ve shared one child scoop since we had a big dinner. Also, affordably priced so definitely check it out. We got the dairy free flavor and the coffee oreo and both were delicious.
