“One of the best looking DGs I've been to. The curb appeal was also pretty. When I went on a Sunday, it was pretty quiet. I try to go on Saturdays because you can use their $5 coupon. From what I saw, the shelves were pretty organized and clean. I did notice some employees stocking the shelves; hence the pile of items waiting to be unloaded on the aisles. They had a mix and match, buy one get one 50% off aisle that was disorganized. We bought two items and didn't get the second one 50% off. We read the fine print regarding which items were excluded but since the aisle was disorganized, we weren't sure if it was truly part of the sale. I think they should keep all items that were on this particular sale promotion in one spot so it's easy to find; items not part of the sale should be separated.Overall, it is one of my favorite stores and I'm glad that there is one close to me.”

“This Dollar Tree is located in a plaza next to Ollie's. It's one of the quietest DTs I've been to. The store was well stocked and mostly everything was $1.25; there were some $3 and $5 items as well. The items usually run in a smaller/lower quantity size; dish soap, trash bags, and other various items. You can pretty much find anything you need there. There were some clutter on some of the aisles, unloaded boxes here and there.

I'm a fan of the snacks aisle. They have some unique snacks as well as the common brand names. You can also find refrigerated food items. I think this is a great store to buy gifts at; you can make a nice gift basket using items from the Dollar Tree. I do miss the days when everything was just $1. Overall, a great store if you're trying to save money, especially in this economy.”

“"If dirt were dollarsWe'd all be in the black"(Don Henley)I certainly enjoy poking around dollar stores, especially when they are new, neat, well stocked and organized, and staffed by friendly engaging personnel. The Dollar Tree in Unionville has all of those qualities. They've only been open for half a year, but the store looks like it just opened yesterday. All the shelves were full and the store was as neat as a pin. As we walked their aisles we saw a nice selection of toys, books, household paper goods, cleaning supplies, home office and craft supplies, kitchen ware, pet supplies, frozen food, canned goods, candy, snacks, greeting cards (2 for a buck!), health and beauty aids, and party supplies. They even have a small bargain section where we saw dirt cheap Christmas wrap, bagged snacks, and a $0.25 jar of spicy mustard that ended up in our cart. We picked up a whole slew of Valentines Day goodies for the grand kids and a whole slew of beef jerky for me. And to top things off, the young lady at the cash register was a delight!”

“Went to many stores to get the $6 deal on toasters and coffee pots to donate. So many stores are a mess and no stock. Went to the store in Barkhamsted, Ct and they were helpful, had stock and a clean store!”

“Wonderful to be able to stop in & shop for those bits & pieces on my list for only $1.25 each! Can't best that price! 4 stars bc they really need more than 1 cashier when it gets busy. But ppl are patient & cashiers do their best.”
