Bob is amazing-super knowledgeable and talented, unbeatable rates, and great service. He even worked on a holiday getting my car back on the road without me asking him to! If you can find the place, I recommend it all day to anyone. I'll be a lifelong customer.

My car is SO much better. Had to have rear bearing replaced and the car is so quiet now. Great job, nice nice guys. If I didn't know better I'd say they did a little tweak on the engine, too. Will definitely give them more work when needed. Only issue would be that he was late to open and I stood around for an hour. Other than that, easy peasy.

You might not even know this place is a European car repair shop, cause you can drive past in a blink. Located in Bakerville part of new Hartford it's a small place on the right as you're heading west on Route 202. These guys are amazing. I had brought my Volvo to three other mechanics to find some reason for this loss of radiator fluid. Bob found the issue in less than a half an hour and it turned out to be a small plastic elbow joint that cost $3. That's when he won my loyalty.

I began using Bob's for the MGB repairs that I couldn't handle, and then began taking the Mercedes 300 that replaced it. Bob's is unique among the foreign car garages that I have used in the past. He and his staff do not have the snobby attitude you often encounter, nor do they act like you are interrupting brain surgery while trying to schedule a repair. Talking to the guys at Bob's is like talking to a friend. The repairs are first rate, as well as the quality and attention to detail. I've seen just about every marque at their shop, though I think that they have a sweet spot for Volvos. Vintage or new, I'd recommend that you check them out!
