Staff was accommodating and kind and knowledgeable - so sweet and caring for our brand new puppy. This practice came highly recommended by our entire neighborhood and we are looking forward to a long relationship.

NFAH has taken great care of my pets for many years. They also take great care of me when I am nervous about my pets and handle every situation with courtesy, professionalism, and most importantly top-notch veterinary knowledge. I highly recommend them for all pets and pet parents.

I have been going to New Fairfield Animal Hospital since they opened with various pets, both dogs and cats. Their staff is courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and from the minute you walk in you feel your pet is going to get the best of care. I highly recommend New Fairfield Animal Hospital.Jeani Schaumann

The New Fairfield Animal Hospital is the only vet we go to. They are caring and highly skilled, whether it's for a routine physical and vaccines, to surgery, to putting an animal to sleep; they're always there for you. The technicians have been there for years and know your pet, and the front desk couldn't be more patient and helpful.

We cannot say enough about the extreme caring and consideration of every staff member. For many years ( 15) the New Fairfield Animal Hospital has cared for our pup in ways we cannot express. From routine visits to unfortunate emergencies we always felt comfortable in every way…every time. Phone calls were always returned promptly , timely updates on surgeries always given. We’ve recommended them highly over the years and received back accolades and thanks from those we referred.Thank you! True professionals with big hearts… ❤️

Everyone at this office is so kind and concerned about your pets well-being. We were having problems with our puppy and Dr. Brunner took the time to help us solve the problem. He went above and beyond what we would have expected.Thank you Dr. BrunnerWe also want to thank Dr.Harter for her caring efforts to help with our puppy.

Update: A few hours after writing this review Emily called to say the practice was dropping us as clients. Earlier today they told me a Vet would call to instruct on how to treat my dogs stomach issues. That never happened. At no point have I ever been rude to them or anything of that sort to warrant dropping us. Also, To drop us as clients when my dog isn’t well and in need of medical attention speaks volumes on this practice and their values. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to any pet parents.Emily at the front desk refused to make an appointment for my dog (or let me speak to anyone else) because we were in earlier this week for an EAR exam.I called this morning for stomach/stool issues my dog has been having and she insisted on speaking to a doctor before making an appointment because she said that’s what makes her “more comfortable” since I was already in this week.I cannot wrap my head around how the ears and gut are related and why I received push back from her to make this appointment. The staff at this practice has changed in recent years (doctors and front desk receptionists) and their quality of care has gone down significantly.I’ve been hesitant to move my dog out of this practice because we’ve been coming here for years but issues like this make it very difficult to want to stay with them.Especially when you know your pet isn’t feeling 100% and want to have them seen…Highly disappointed in our phone interaction and how Emily chose to handle this stressful time for us.Regular check ups and annual visits for vaccines and basics are fine but when you really need a good vet and office team to help and support you and your pet these people fall short.

Amazingly friendly staff members, especially the reception area!! I take all five of my pets here, two cats and three dogs. Dr. Brunner and Dr. Harter are wonderful and genuinely care about my babies well-being. One of my pups is usually anxious about being out in public but the staff here always make her feel safe. Love this place and the staff!!

I want to say that the veterinarian n technicians staff are 100% the best around. I don't use them is because I don't live in the area. I helped a dog owner (Joe) with his dog (Remy) to get his pup there because of a serious accident. The NFF Animal hospital stopped everything they were doing n it was all hands on. Again I don't know anyone I just wrote about but I would definitely recommend them anyone.

I've been taking my pug to NFAH for 10 years now and it's one of her favorite places to go because the whole office treats her like a mini celebrity! They've been with us through every shot, lump, bump, and unintended snack and she's still ecstatic to hear 'we're going to the vet!'
