“I had my car towed to them to fix my alternator. My friend couldn't figure out how to do it so decided to use these guys! I had read a few good reviews and they were right down the street from me! Anyway, was thinking over $200 for them to do my alternator! Nope $77 for that and a part for the battery terminal! I was so happy! Joe seems very knowledgeable and very nice and friendly! Definitely using them again in future! Thank u guys!”

“This is is a great Stop & Shop. It's our local store and we've been shopping here for a long time. The store is always clean and well lit. It's well stocked and carries a huge selection of products. The floral department is excellent! They have a large selection of beautiful flowers and plants. They also have a lot of very pretty seasonal decorations. The bakery is also excellent! They have a huge selection of baked goods. All of the bakery items are fresh and well stocked. We've bought numerous items from the bakery (breads, cupcakes, apple pie, cookies) and they've all been fresh and delicious. I especially like the breads and cookies. The produce is good here. All the berries, cabbage, lettuce, peppers, and other fruits and vegetables always look fresh and are well stocked. The deli is good and clean with friendly staff. The prepared chicken is all hot and fresh. The sandwiches look fresh and delicious and are well stocked with a wide variety to choose from. This location recently got a hot wing bar and the wings there all look hot, fresh, and delicious. The seafood looks fresh and is well stocked. The meats look fresh and are well stocked with a wide selection. The organic section is very large, and is very clean and well stocked with a wide variety of organic items to choose from. There is a very nice cafe in the front where you can sit down and have a bite to eat or relax for a bit. The bathrooms are older but are kept clean. There is also a gas station onsite, and you can get good deals from the gas points. The staff here are all friendly, attentive, and helpful. Everyone we encounter here is always helpful and professional. The ladies that work the self checkouts often bag our items for us if we need it, the lady who works at the gas station is very friendly, deli staff are very nice, and the bakery manager and staff are friendly and very helpful. Many of the staff have been here for a long time and it's really nice to see the same friendly faces each time I shop here. I don't usually see the managers around, but they have been very helpful and professional when I've needed assistance. Like all Stop & Shops, I have found some expired items on the shelves. Make sure you check the dates on what you're buying. Overall, this is a great Stop & Shop, one of the better ones in the area and one of my favorite locations. The store is clean, staff are excellent, and there is a wide variety of fresh foods. This is my main supermarket and it's a well managed store. It's part of a huge chain but kind of has a hometown feel due to the great team of staff working there. 4.5 stars for the New Milford Stop & Shop.”

“While visiting CT, stopped at the BJ's Warehouse and realized they had a gas station too! Only $2.85/gallon. $2.75/gal if you have a BJ's MasterCard. Had to wait for a pump about 5 mins but worth it! Got over 10 gallons of gas for only $30! That is a steal compared to NYC prices and makes the membership fee worth it.”

No need to wet yourself in the rain nor soil your hands with gasoline; the attendant takes care of this very efficiently, and is quite friendly. A tip of $2 does the job for this high-volume gas station. Propane tanks, air for tires, windshield fluid, motor oil, canned and bottled refreshments, and basic foodstuffs are also on sale, plus sundries related to travel (car chargers, packets of advil, toiletries and such). Cashier nice enough.”
