I have been a customer with Walgreens for 20 years for prescriptions, personal items, and accessories. Over the 20 years the quality of service and the friendliness of the staff has deteriorated. The staff are rude, impolite, and just plain nasty. The information frequently provided by the pharmacy staff is not accurate. I will no longer shop at Walgreens. I will make a point to not speak favorably of the drug store chain.

Hands down the worst place. I won't call it a pharmacy because they are never open and never carry medication. Wednesday they were closed at 1:30 and Thursday they said they could order the medication for pickup on Monday. If they actually looked, they would realize if I don't have medication for 6 days, I would likely die. I've tried calling corporate four times for help locating a store with the medication in stock. I am awaiting a call from Walgreens district manager, but I do not expect to hear from him. I will be filing a complaint w the state.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. The pharmacy is incredibly understaffed and is closed half the time that I go in. They closed today unexpectedly (Monday at 10 am) due to an emergency, and I was unable to pick up a very time-sensitive prescription. Couldn't transfer the prescription to another location because it is a controlled substance. How can they not have a back-up pharmacist who can come in? How do they only have one staff member there? This is not only inconvenient, it is DANGEROUS. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION, or you will be very disappointed, if not putting your family in danger.

I used to go to the Cvs on Park st. I've never had more of a horrible experience in the last few years. our family has been going to cvs since 1996, but i finally snapped i couldn't take the rudeness much longer. I switched to walgreens and i have never been more overjoyed. The lady's at the pharmacy are so sweet and funny, they treat you like real humans. I truly have never been happier thank you so much walgreens.

If anyone ruins this store’s atmosphere it’s two of the employees “Dionne” and “Bhavna”. They both put off a very bad attitude. Dionne more so than Bhavna but Dionne is just rude to customers and has this terrible attitude through and through. I only mentioned the second name because I had a bad experience with her once but Dionne puts the icing on the cake of someone who just isn’t suited for customer service. Don’t think I’ll be shopping at this particular location anymore.

Their pharmacy hours aren't good for the customer. They're closed on weekends.

I stopped getting prescription there. Refills were always problematic. Switched to New Canaan Pharmacy---much better. Used to take my FedEx international shipments there and was told they no long accept, because of paper problems.

Horrible passport photos, went all the way to renew my passport just for the photos to be too dark. Waste of time and money

The cashier/manager was extremely rude. He yelled at me because the bills i gave were folded. He kept trying to push them back even thoough that was not my problem. He then claimed that i needed more change and then kept mumbling something. I asked him to speak up and he said it in the exact tone as before. Also holding up the entire line.i had given enough money and it was his job to take it. I dont understand why he was so rude. He then gave me 2 cents when i should have had 12. Any other times i was in there staff was slow and rude. If i could give less than one star i would. Next time i am in new Caanan i will be taking my business elsewhere.

Hung up on repeatedly. I haven't stepped foot in there but they lost my business permanently.

I've been shopping at this Walgreens for years and everything has been great. However, recently in the last year or so, they hired this new manager, "Dionne". She ruins it. She likes to talk down to the customers when we ask simple questions and just gives off a hostile and aggressive attitude back to us.

Very poor customer service. Went there for Passport pictures and was refused by the manager, Cindy, who said that she wouldn't jeopardize her life to take my picture, as I would need to briefly remove my mask for the picture. Absolutely absurd, given the CVS across the way thought that was pretty funny and took my picture, doing an exceptional job. I realize we are in a Covid situation, but Walgreens should advertise they won't do this service so we don't waste our time going there, and going to a CVS instead. Really silly.

Please confirm your account to post your review 4/16/2020 Walgreens pharmacy staff has given me the incorrect brand of drug 5 separate times. Their errors have required me to go to the store twice in a week 5 different times. Each time I have spoken to the pharmacist about this she explains that the employee who filled my prescription did not read the notes in my profile and the system filled my order with the default generic brand( i.e. the brand that is the most profitable to Walgreens). The pharmacist staff never apologize for the inconvenience and cannot fathom why I might be irked by their poor service. I mentioned to the manager that not once had pharmacy staff said "sorry" for their error or the inconvenience it causes me, the customer. Additional, the wait in line for service is invariably longer than the wait at nearby CVS. This indifferent service by Walgreens staff creates not just inconvenience but unnecessary risk to customers in our new world requiring social distancing.
