My family has been shopping at Karl for a while. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and as someone only on their second car (both purchased at Karl) I’m a happy customer. As someone who will easily admit I know nothing about vehicles, they’ve taken their time to explain everything to me without feeling spoken down to.

Im an invisible man. I visited the dealership this afternoon looking for a new truck. I was the only person in the showroom and no one even recognized I was there let alone offer to help. Thinking maybe they were all busy I went and moved my Defender to the front of the showroom parking area thinking maybe that might spark some attention. I then walked through the showroom a second time and once again nothing. Very disappointing...

You know how you are trying to find a car dealer to disprove the myth that all dealers are out to get you? Well, this is that hidden charm of a car dealership. I had a fantastic car buying experience. I purchased a used 2020 Bolt EV. Not only did they honor the discounted price as advertised, they worked with me to get the Federal Used EV rebate. Their doc fees we substantially below average for CT. I can't see how other dealerships get away with charging those ridiculous doc fees, when these guys are proving it does not have to be that way when purchasing a car. They disclosed all fees and even those fees were fair and reasonable. This is a family business since 1927 and you can feel the "family" environment when in the dealership. If you are looking for a car, please go in and check them out. Even mention this review!
