I have had several pieces framed at Handwright Gallery & Framing, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team, led by Betsy and her trusted 4-legged companion Moose, was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me choose the perfect frames and mats to complement each piece. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is outstanding. The final products were beautifully finished and ready to hang. There is ample parking in the back of the store which is an added plus. Not only are they experienced, friendly, helpful and kind, the turnaround time is quick, and all the work is done in house, right on the premises. I highly recommend Handwright Gallery for anyone looking for top-notch framing services, conscientious staff, and an impressive end result.

I had a really nice experience at this gallery - Betsy and Jen went above and beyond to create a framed artwork for us in record time, despite crazy busy Christmas rush. Highly recommend this talented and friendly gallery.

I went to Handwright Gallery and Framing to have two prints framed for my children and to reframe an oil painting that needed lighting. Betsy was extremely helpful in picking out frames and lighting. All pictures came out great and the oil painting that had lost it's luster is now perfectly framed with lighting that brought out colors that had been lost! I highly recommend Betsy and Handwright Gallery - she did a great job!

Handwright Gallery and Framing is an outstanding art resource located in the heart of New Canaan, CT. The staff are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable, and the owner Betsy Jessup is going away the best framer with whom I have ever worked. As a professional artist (painter), her skill and insight into what best shows off a painting are invaluable to me, no matter the size or type of work. Every trip to Handwright is a pleasure.

I was researching a picture frame that I came across. I took a shot and sent an email to this place and so kind and informative responded really quickly with a lot of information. Apparently very in tune with the history of their area although I live outside Chicago I would love to be able to go in and personally thank them
