Twice when I've had a flat tire, the mechanics at New Canaan Gulf were able to help me and fix my tire or get me a replacement the same day. The cost was very reasonable too!

Matt the mechanic at New Canaan Gulf saved me thousands today. I brought in my Honda Accord with 227,000 miles that needed to pass emissions.I thought my car was at the end of its life and needed more work than the car was worth. I was waiting to hear bad news.But Matt replaced the spark plugs, did the test, and it passed. He did the bare minimum for a car that old to keep it running and street legal.I’m very grateful for that.Car was in and out in a few hours. Really great guy and great service.

I used to live across the street from the local Gulf Station downtown New Canaan. Living downtown had it's benefits including walking to the Gulf Station where the owners sold vintage cars 🚗 on display for reasonable prices. The Gulf station mechanics would repair the vehicles guaranteeing a car in excellent condition before sale. My favorite automobiles were a vintage Jaguar and a top of the line preowned Audi for sale at New Canaan Gulf. The service is excellent given by well trained mechanics who manage the Gulf Station on South Avenue in New Canaan offering prices that compete favorably with local gas stations. The Gulf Station downtown New Canaan is a friendly neighbor always there when you need them.

I went to Gulf to fill my tire with air after the Tire Pressure light came on unexpectedly. After several minutes of filling, my Tire Pressure light was still on, so I went inside to ask if the gentleman behind the counter could just give me a quick hand - maybe I was doing something wrong, maybe my sensor was bad, or maybe the cool front that came in after the heat wave was effecting my tire pressure. It could have been a number of things. He looked at me, smirked, and then condescendingly said, "You don't know how to put air in a tire?" Rude, much? I just wanted someone more knowledgeable then me to give me a hand, and he offered no assistance whatsoever.
