While visiting from out of town, I discovered Found. What a beautiful shop filled with lovely gifts and items for the home! The proprietor was friendly, creative and helpful - never pushy. I bought something special for my host and treated myself too.

Found Design is truly a treasure trove of fantastic vintage and new finds! Whether you are looking for the perfect piece of furniture, a new picture, a hostess gift or jewelry (vintage and new) for yourself, this is the place! It is all beautifully displayed and styled in such a way that really inspires you to think about a refresh for your space. Additionally, Design Services are available which I can personally recommend.

The owner was exceptionally rude to someone in the store who seemingly was from a lower placement on the socioeconomic todem pole than other people from New Canaan. I didn’t walk in halfway into a situation I had the potential to misread, she was blatantly rude to this person for being of a different ilk. She was perfectly lovely to me for all the wrong reasons. I can’t stand places like that and won’t support stores who treat people that way.
